Later launch announcements gave different market-specific prices: €29,900 in selected European markets, £29,995 in the UK, THB 698,000–798,000 in Thailand, and RM107,800 starting in Malaysia. The B10’s price, equipment and range depend on the country and configuration.
Where the $14,000–$21,000 figure came from
Engadget’s October 15, 2024 report described a reported expected price of $14,000–$21,000, linked to anticipated Chinese pricing of RMB 100,000–150,000. It was a pre-launch estimate, not a confirmed retail price, and the report said U.S. availability had not been announced at that time.
Subsequent announcements set prices for specific markets. Those figures are not interchangeable: currency, local taxes, incentives, trim and market offers can differ. The available announcements do not establish a current U.S. price or confirm present U.S. availability.

Range depends on the battery and test cycle
Published range figures vary by market configuration and test method. WLTP and NEDC are different test cycles, so their results should not be compared as if they were measured on the same basis.

The figures are manufacturer-announced specifications, not independent road-test results. Real-world range can differ from an official test-cycle figure; the announcements cited here do not provide a single comparable real-world range test.

Charging specifications vary by market and trim
Leapmotor’s European launch release lists 11 kW AC charging and peak DC charging of up to 168 kW, with a claimed 30–80% charge time of 20 minutes. The Malaysian specification table distinguishes trims: LIFE is listed with 140 kW DC, while DESIGN is listed with 168 kW DC; both have 11 kW onboard AC and 3.3 kW vehicle-to-load output. These are market-specific manufacturer specifications, not a guarantee that every B10 has the same charging hardware or achieves the stated charging rate in all conditions.

The European announcement describes LIFE and DESIGN versions and lists features including a 14.6-inch screen, panoramic roof and 360-degree camera. The UK launch describes a single highly equipped UK trim with its own equipment specification. Do not assume a feature listed for one market or trim is included in another; check the local specification and software-feature availability.

How to assess a local B10 offer
- Use the price for your country and confirm it with the local importer or dealer; the 2024 dollar range is not a current U.S. offer.
- Compare the same market and trim, and check whether taxes, delivery costs, grants or promotional terms are included.
- Match range to its battery size and test cycle; do not rank an NEDC figure against a WLTP figure as a like-for-like result.
- Confirm the specific trim’s AC and peak DC charging ratings and which equipment is included.
