LDV’s local context is also unsettled: EV Central says the brand paused sales of the petrol MIFA and electric MIFA 9 late in 2025 while monitoring the people-mover market, without formally discontinuing either. The MIFA 9 launched in Australia in 2022. The Mifa 7’s reappearance in approval paperwork therefore signals evaluation, not a confirmed addition to showrooms.

Is the Mifa 7’s safety rating known?
No Mifa 7 ANCAP assessment is established by the available material. ANCAP’s LDV MIFA page says its 2022 rating applies to seven-seat variants and is based on testing the battery-electric MIFA 9, with technical information from LDV used to extend applicability to seven-seat petrol MIFA variants; eight-seat variants are unrated. That rating is not a test result for the Mifa 7.
