The one-off machine combined a 3.0-liter Ferrari V8 rated at 250 hp with an unusual four-wheel layout; the historical report does not establish that it is for sale today.
What was the Lazareth Wazuma V8F?
French custom vehicle maker Lazareth built the Wazuma V8F as a company showpiece. New Atlas reported that it was first displayed at Top Marques Monaco in 2010 and was based on the Wazuma R1, which used a 1,000 cc Yamaha R1 engine. The V8F replaced that motorcycle-based powertrain with a Ferrari V8. New Atlas’s December 27, 2011 report is the source for the vehicle details and historical sale price below.
What engine and specifications did the 2011 report give?
New Atlas listed a 3.0-liter Ferrari V8 producing 250 hp, paired with a six-speed sequential gearbox from a BMW M3. The gearbox was controlled from the handlebars. The report also gave a weight of 650 kg (1,433 lb).
| Component | Details reported in 2011 |
|---|---|
| Engine and output | 3.0-liter Ferrari V8; 250 hp |
| Transmission | Six-speed sequential BMW M3 gearbox, handlebar-controlled |
| Steering and suspension | Electric power steering; four custom horizontal EMC shocks |
| Wheels and brakes | Modified 18-inch Momo (+Power) wheels; Brembo calipers and four 324 mm brake discs |
| Tires | Slicks: 285-30ZR18 at the front and 315-30ZR18 at the rear |
| Fuel and engine management | Injection system adapted from two sport-bike engines; Sybelle electronic management; eight intake funnels and four exhaust outlets |
Why does it look like a quad and a trike at once?
The reported layout has two spaced front wheels and two rear wheels positioned close together. That arrangement does not fit neatly into the familiar visual categories of a conventional quad or a trike. The unusual geometry is a defining feature of the V8F, but the 2011 report does not provide enough information to infer how it affects handling or how the vehicle is classified for registration.

How much did the Wazuma V8F cost?
New Atlas reported an asking price of €200,000 in December 2011, giving US$261,000 as the equivalent in that article’s 2011 framing. This is a historical asking price, not a current valuation or confirmed present-day price.
Is the Ferrari-powered Wazuma V8F still for sale?
The available account is a December 2011 sale report, not a current listing. It does not establish whether the vehicle remains available, who owns it, its present condition or location, or what it might cost now. A current statement from Lazareth or a verified listing would be needed to confirm those details.

The name is easy to confuse with other Lazareth vehicles. The company’s Wazuma V8M page describes a different model with a 4.7-liter Maserati V8. Its specifications and price should not be applied to the Ferrari-powered V8F. Lazareth’s Triazuma page describes a three-wheel V8F variant, distinct from the four-wheel machine in the 2011 sale report.
