Launch-era reporting describes it as a short-trip vehicle, but its published range figures differ between outlets—and its present-day availability and support are not established.
What is the Lámpago?
New Atlas described the Lámpago as its maker’s first electric vehicle: a throttle-operated, three-wheeled micro-car or scooter intended for two people. It has a single retro-styled door and motorcycle-style handlebars rather than pedals. The styling is distinctive, but the “fun-loving retro-cool” description is an aesthetic characterization, not evidence of performance.

The 2023 coverage suggested inner-city hops, local-store trips and possible tourist transport for short beach-front jaunts. Those are proposed uses, not evidence of road testing or an operating rental service. New Atlas’s August 15, 2023 report provides the main launch-era description.
Reported specifications and range
New Atlas reported a 1,000-watt motor, a 60-volt, 30-amp-hour battery (1,800 Wh), a top speed of 25 km/h (15.5 mph), and a range of 30–50 km (18.6–31 miles) per charge. It also reported about three hours to charge. These are published product figures, not independently tested results.

The launch description lists a digital dash with an analog clock, LED headlight and lighting, alloy wheels, and a spare tire mounted at the rear. It also notes a branded umbrella, thermos flask and key holder. These details describe equipment reported in 2023; whether they remain standard, available or included now is not established.

The available reporting does not establish whether the Lámpago is currently in production, which markets it serves, what it costs today, or whether authorized dealers, parts and service support, or rental operations are available.
