GO trains on the Kitchener line will run only between Mount Pleasant GO and Mount Dennis GO on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 3–4, 2026. There will be no GO service at Bloor GO. Depending on where you start, use a GO bus connection or continue from Mount Dennis on TTC Line 5 and Line 1; check the live schedule before leaving because the operator says construction plans can change.
What changes on Oct. 3–4
GO Transit’s published plan has trains operating between Mount Pleasant GO and Mount Dennis GO. Select GO buses will run between Stratford or Kitchener GO and Hwy 407 Bus Terminal, and GO trains will not serve Bloor GO. The notice describes route options, not a complete timetable for every journey.
GO says crews will relocate utilities in Guelph for the Kitchener Extension project and perform track maintenance. The notice does not provide a detailed work timetable or technical scope. It cautions: “Work may be adjusted, rescheduled, or extended due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.” GO Transit’s Kitchener Construction notice is the place to recheck the plan and schedules before travelling.
