The Kia EV9 starts at £65,025 on the current UK price guide, but the available information does not confirm a permanent price cut or how much one might have been. Kia is currently advertising a separate £1,500 PCP deposit contribution for qualifying retail purchases dated 1 October to 15 December 2026. That finance offer is not a reduction in the vehicle’s list price.

Did Kia permanently cut the EV9’s UK price?
The current guide gives today’s listed prices, but the available official price and offer information does not establish an earlier list price, the size of a permanent reduction or when such a change took effect. It therefore does not verify that the EV9 has just become cheaper in the sense of a confirmed list-price cut.

What Kia does list is a time-limited PCP contribution. Treat that as an incentive on an eligible finance transaction, not as a new cash price for the car.
What is Kia’s current EV9 PCP offer?
Kia UK lists a £1,500 contribution toward the PCP deposit on qualifying retail purchases dated 1 October to 15 December 2026. Terms and eligibility conditions apply; finance is subject to status, and Kia says it may amend or withdraw offers. The offer page also references a seven-year/100,000-mile manufacturer warranty. See Kia’s EV9 offer terms and confirm eligibility and the live terms before proceeding.
The available offer information does not state a current APR or a full representative finance illustration. To compare finance quotes, check the APR, customer deposit, term, annual mileage allowance, optional final payment and total amount payable—not just the contribution.
Is the Kia EV9 a seven-seater?
Yes. Kia lists seven seats as standard. The GT-Line S is also available as a six-seater with a swivel second row, so its two configurations differ in both seating layout and price. Kia’s EV9 technical specifications list the seat options and configuration details.

Kia’s UK guide gives the rear-wheel-drive Air a WLTP range of 349 miles. Its all-wheel-drive GT-Line and GT-Line S versions are listed at 313 miles. These are standardized WLTP figures, not a promise of the distance every driver will cover: Kia warns that driving style, speed, outside temperature, terrain and use of electrical equipment can reduce real-world range.
Carwow reports DC charging at up to 210 kW and an approximate 10–80% charge time of 24 minutes. In its own tests, it recorded 2.3 miles per kWh for an all-wheel-drive EV9 in winter and 3.0 miles per kWh for a rear-wheel-drive Air in warmer weather. Those are specific review observations, not guaranteed results for every journey or vehicle.
Which EV9 configuration makes sense?
- Air: The lowest-priced option in Kia’s current guide, with rear-wheel drive and the highest listed WLTP range.
- GT-Line: Adds all-wheel drive and higher listed power than Air, with a lower official WLTP range.
- GT-Line S, seven seats: The more expensive all-wheel-drive configuration with the standard seven-seat layout.
- GT-Line S, six seats: Costs £1,000 more than the seven-seat version on current OTR figures and has a swivel second row.
Compare the OTR price alongside the seat count, second-row layout, drivetrain and range. For finance, compare the full agreement terms separately from the car’s listed price.
