John Deere’s current U.S. tillage overview lists 11 high-speed disk variants, from the HSD15 to the HSD45, and describes the HSD Series as “autonomy ready.” Deere publishes family-level operating ranges of 2–6 inches deep, 10–14 mph and 15+ hp per foot. The company calls the lineup expanded, but its accessible public material does not identify which individual sizes are new or explain the HSD-specific autonomy equipment or operating modes.
Which John Deere high-speed disk sizes are listed?
Deere’s U.S. tillage overview lists these 11 HSD variants:
- HSD15
- HSD19
- HSD22
- HSD25 2S
- HSD25
- HSD29
- HSD32
- HSD35
- HSD39
- HSD42
- HSD45
The listing establishes the available named variants in the overview, not which models were newly introduced. Deere’s U.S. agriculture page describes an “Expanded High-Speed Disk Lineup” and positions it as an improvement over the 2680H High-Performance Disk, citing reliability and serviceability. The accessible page does not specify the added sizes or state an announcement or delivery date.
What operating specifications does Deere publish?
Deere shows the following ranges across the HSD family. These are manufacturer-published product specifications, not independently verified field-test results:

| Power requirement | 15+ hp per foot (36.7 kW/m) |
| Residue conditions listed | Light, medium and heavy |
| Depth control listed | TruSet set-point or single-point depth control |
The overview does not establish individual working widths, transport dimensions or tractor requirements for each model or configuration. The family-level horsepower-per-foot figure should not be treated as a complete tractor match: buyers still need the specific implement configuration and tractor requirements.
Is the John Deere HSD autonomy ready?
Yes—in Deere’s product language, the HSD Series is listed among tillage tools that come “Autonomy Ready.” The same overview names TruSet, AutoPath and AutoTrac Turn Automation as precision-ag technologies. However, Deere’s accessible overview does not define the HSD-specific autonomy package, identify included or required hardware, name compatible tractors, or specify which autonomous operating modes are supported. The label alone does not establish that an HSD can operate autonomously with any tractor or without additional equipment.

What should buyers verify before choosing a size?
The family overview is useful for understanding broad operating ranges, but it is not a model-by-model selection sheet. Before comparing variants, ask a local John Deere dealer for the detailed specifications for the exact model and configuration under consideration.
- Actual implement working width and transport dimensions.
- Tractor horsepower and drawbar requirements for the selected configuration.
- Depth-control setup and any configuration differences.
- Suitability for the field’s residue conditions and intended operating depth and speed.
- Availability, delivery timing and dealer support.
- For autonomy, the required HSD equipment, compatible tractor and supported operating functions.
Deere cautions that equipment availability may be limited and directs prospective buyers to local dealers for additional information. The accessible material does not establish a price or regional inventory.

Do 2680H replacement blades fit an HSD?
Not on the evidence available. Deere parts references identify 20-inch notched and plain blades and an 18-inch smooth disk for the separate 2680H High-Performance Disk; those references do not establish fitment for any HSD model. Check the implement model and serial information in Deere’s Tillage Guide or official parts lookup before selecting a replacement. The Spring 2024 parts catalog is a 2680H-related parts reference, not an HSD compatibility guide.
