The $12 million in the headline was the reported launch asking price for Jamie McMurray’s Lake Norman-area estate in August 2025—not a confirmed current price. Mansion Global reported a $1 million reduction on March 31, 2026, bringing the asking price to $10.995 million. The property’s price and listing status as of October 8, 2026, have not been verified.
What is the property, and where is it?
Reports place the estate on the Brawley Peninsula in Mooresville, North Carolina, on Lake Norman. The grounds are reported to cover 33.6 acres and extend to the lake, with a private dock. But “lakefront” needs a qualification: Mansion Global’s March 31, 2026 report says the main house itself does not directly front the water.
The Charlotte Observer’s August 23, 2025 report described the gated estate as a waterfront property. The distinction is between the larger parcel’s access to the lake and the house’s position on that parcel.
What price was reported?
| Date reported | Reported asking price | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| August 2025 | $12 million | Launch asking price reported when the property came to market. |
| March 31, 2026 | $10.995 million | Mansion Global reported a $1 million price reduction to this ask. |
| October 8, 2026 | Not verified | The available reporting does not establish whether the property remains listed, is under contract, has sold, or has been withdrawn. |
These are reported asking prices, not a sale price. The March 2026 figure should not be treated as the current ask without a newer listing or transaction record.

What amenities were reported?
Mansion Global’s March 31, 2026 account listed a saltwater pool, artificial turf, fire pit, detached pool house, stone patio with built-in barbecue, wine cellar, and private dock. Those are reported listing details from that date; they do not establish what remains included or available in any later listing.
What does the listing agent say about the location?
Mansion Global quoted listing agent Josh Tucker describing the east side of Lake Norman as having “much better infrastructure” and saying Cornelius and Mooresville were, in his view, the lake’s most desired towns. Tucker also said homes on the Brawley Peninsula “usually have an acre or less.” Those are the agent’s opinions and characterization, not an independent market study. The March 2026 price-cut report identified Josh Tucker and Joseph Adams with the Corcoran listing.
