Both use black ceramic cases, blue accents and a case-back engraving of Russell’s race number, 63. Their main differences are the chronograph function, movement, power reserve and case size.
Which George Russell IWC watches are in the release?
The pair comprises an automatic three-hand watch and a chronograph. IWC’s official release names the models, references and core specifications; the thickness figures and launch pricing below come from T3’s reporting on 5 February 2026.
| Model | Reference | Function and movement | Stated power reserve | Diameter | Thickness | UK launch price reported by T3 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Pilot’s Watch Automatic 41 George Russell | IW328107 | Automatic; IWC-manufactured calibre 32112 with double-pawl winding system | 120 hours (IWC) | 41 mm (IWC) | 11.4 mm (T3) | £7,300 |
| Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41 George Russell | IW389411 | Chronograph; IWC-manufactured calibre 69380 | 46 hours (IWC) | 41.9 mm (IWC) | 15.5 mm (T3) | £10,100 |
The £7,300 and £10,100 figures are T3’s UK launch-price reporting, not current prices or universal regional pricing. IWC’s 5 February press release confirms that the watches are limited editions but does not state their prices or production counts. T3 reported that the chronograph is limited to 1,063 pieces; it did not provide a piece count for the automatic in the cited launch report.
How the automatic and chronograph differ
Automatic 41: longer stated reserve, slimmer reported profile
The IW328107 uses IWC calibre 32112, an automatic movement with the brand’s double-pawl winding system. IWC states a 120-hour power reserve and a 41 mm case diameter. T3 reported a thickness of 11.4 mm. It is the simpler of the two in function and has the longer stated reserve.

Chronograph 41: timing function, larger case and shorter reserve
The IW389411 adds a chronograph and uses IWC calibre 69380. Its stated power reserve is 46 hours, and its diameter is 41.9 mm. T3 reported a 15.5 mm case thickness. Those figures make it larger in diameter and thicker than the automatic, while its stated reserve is shorter.
What design details do the two watches share?
Both models pair black zirconium oxide ceramic cases with black dials, blue printed details and blue Super-LumiNova. Each has a titanium case back engraved with Russell’s starting number, “63,” and a blue rubber strap fitted with IWC’s EasX-CHANGE system. IWC describes ceramic as lighter than steel and highly scratch-resistant.

- Movement: NH35A automatic with 24 gems, quite accurate
- Waterproof: Water resistant up to 20 ATM / 200 meters / 655 feet/20 bars
- Luminous: Luminescent hands and indexes, excellent night brightness
- Material: Premium 316L stainless steel, synthetic sapphire crystal, black leather strap
- Size: Fits wrists from approximately 152 mm to approximately 228 mm
The automatic has a Ceratanium crown. On the chronograph, the crown and pushers are made of Ceratanium, which IWC describes as combining titanium’s lightness with hardness and scratch resistance similar to ceramic. IWC says the blue accents draw on the blue-dominant design of Russell’s helmet and his signature color; that is the brand’s stated design rationale.
What did George Russell say about the watches?
IWC’s release attributes this statement to Russell, a Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team driver: “These two limited-edition Pilot’s Watch pieces are reflective of where my journey has taken me so far and of what I have been able to achieve on and off the race track”.
