Italian Volt’s LACAMA is a fully electric motorcycle designed and engineered in Imola, Italy—not Milan. Its pitch pairs manufacturer-stated high performance with factory customization: buyers can choose body configuration, front design, paint and seat material. The published figures are impressive, but they remain manufacturer specifications rather than independently verified road-test results.
What is the Italian Volt LACAMA?
The LACAMA is Italian Volt’s full-electric motorcycle. The company places its design and engineering in Imola, in Italy’s Motor Valley; the “Milan” wording sometimes attached to the brand is not supported by the company’s stated location. The current product lineup includes the single-seat Monoposto and two-seat Biposto configurations. Italian Volt’s homepage presents the Imola origin and available versions.
Italian Volt frames the design around function. Its Design Philosophy page says, “We firmly believe that form should follow function, and every curve, line, and component in our motorcycles is a testament to this guiding principle.” That is the company’s own design statement, not an independently assessed conclusion.
How much can buyers customize?
Customization is a central part of the LACAMA’s identity. Italian Volt says customers can select the body and seat configuration, choose among front-design variants, and specify colors for painted components and seat material. The company’s current homepage lists these choices:

These are options described by Italian Volt; the company should confirm which combinations and finishes are available for a particular market and order. The 2023 press kit also described changing the body between one- and two-seat arrangements with a five-screw setup. That is a historical company description, not a current owner procedure or a guarantee that conversion is offered in every configuration.
What performance does the Monoposto claim?
Italian Volt’s current LACAMA Monoposto product page lists an axial-flux permanent-magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) and the following figures. These are manufacturer-published specifications, not independently verified test results.

The urban-cycle qualifier matters: 257 km is not a demonstrated real-world range across routes, speeds, weather, rider loads or temperatures. The product page does not establish a directly comparable range figure under a named common test method for other motorcycles.
What electronics and charging equipment are listed?
The product page lists four riding modes—Rocket!, Sport, Eco and Wet—and four regenerative-braking levels. It also specifies adjustable traction control, launch control, cornering ABS, anti-wheelie, a keyless steering lock and electronic reverse.

Italian Volt describes a Tazzari EV Fluid Battery System using Samsung NCA cells immersed in dielectric liquid, along with an integrated 3.3 kW charger and CCS2 DC fast charging. Those are the manufacturer’s descriptions; they do not independently establish battery safety, efficiency, charging availability or performance in use.
EICMA’s LACAMA overview and the 2023 press kit include a 45-minute DC fast-charge claim. Neither source supplies enough charging conditions to treat that duration as universal. Actual time depends on the charging setup and circumstances, so buyers should request the applicable charge curve and conditions for the specific bike.

How does Hyperlight compare?
Italian Volt’s current product page also lists a LACAMA Hyperlight. The figures below are company-published; EICMA’s overview differs on Hyperlight torque, so that value needs confirmation from Italian Volt.

The torque mismatch is material: the current product page says 140 Nm, while EICMA reports 170 Nm. Do not assume the figures describe different measurement points or silently choose one; ask the manufacturer which specification applies to the model and market being considered. EICMA also describes Hyperlight and Hypersport variants, reporting 82 hp/170 Nm for Hyperlight and 150 hp/230 Nm for Hypersport; its summary does not provide a basis for reconciling those figures with every current product-page specification.

Price, warranty and buying checks
Italian Volt’s current product page lists starting prices of €31,800 plus local taxes for the LACAMA and €29,800 plus local taxes for the Hyperlight. These are starting prices, not a landed quote. Local taxes, delivery charges, availability and delivery timing are not established by those figures. The company site provides an order call to action and a configurator route; ask Italian Volt or a local seller to confirm the final specification and price for your country.
The English product page states a two-year warranty. Warranty terms can vary by market, and the Italian-language warranty text excludes wear parts. Obtain the written warranty that applies where the motorcycle will be sold and serviced, and check local service arrangements before ordering.
The 2023 press kit’s expected delivery start of April 2024 is historical and should not be read as a current delivery schedule. Confirm current stock or build timing and any regional homologation or licensing requirements directly with the seller.
