There is no 2026 Toyota Supra GT3 entry identified in Toyota’s published motorsport program. Toyota lists a Supra in Super GT’s GT500 class and Supra-based activity in GT300, while its documented customer racing car is the GR Supra GT4. A Supra GT4 did win its ST-Z class at one 2026 Super Taikyu event—but that result is not evidence of GT3 competition or season-long dominance.
What Toyota’s 2026 Supra racing program includes
Toyota’s 2026 motorsport program identifies the GR Supra GT500 in Super GT’s GT500 class and Supra-based activity in GT300. It does not identify a 2026 Supra GT3 entry. Those labels refer to different competition categories: a GT500 car is not a GT3 car, and a GT300 entry should not be relabeled GT3 simply because it is based on a Supra.
Toyota’s documented customer competition car is the GR Supra GT4. GT4 is its own class, distinct from GT3, GT500 and GT300. Keeping the categories separate is essential when describing the car or interpreting its results.
What the 2026 race result shows
At Super Taikyu Series Round 4 at Sugo, held July 3–5, 2026, the Saitama GB GR Supra GT4 EVO2 finished first in ST-Z. JAF records the race as run in wet conditions; the winning car completed 159 laps in an aggregate time of 4:02:03.584. Two other Supra GT4 EVO2 entries finished second and third, according to the JAF ST-Z results.

That is a strong class result at one event. It supports saying the Supra GT4 EVO2 won ST-Z at Sugo; it does not establish dominance in GT3, where this result was not recorded, or prove dominance across a season.
What the GR Supra GT4 is—and its published specifications
Toyota describes the GR Supra GT4 as a customer racing car. Its published technical details include a 3.0-litre turbocharged inline-six, a seven-speed paddle-shift automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive. Toyota lists maximum published output as 320 kW (430 hp) and maximum torque as 650 Nm; it notes that different power settings are available to meet balance-of-performance rules. Those are GT4 specifications, not specifications for a Supra GT3. See Toyota’s GR Supra GT4 details.

The car’s race equipment includes a steel body with a high-strength roll cage, a racing seat and six-point harness, competition brakes, racing dampers and Pirelli tires. Its published power should be read as a specification, not a promise of identical output in every race configuration: balance-of-performance rules can require different settings.
How it differs from the 2026 road-going Supra
The 2026 GR Supra sold to consumers in the United States is a separate road car, not a GT4 or GT500 race car. Toyota USA lists a 3.0-litre turbocharged inline-six and a choice of six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission. Its advertised 0–60 mph time of 3.9 seconds is a manufacturer claim for the road model, not a racing statistic. Details are on Toyota USA’s 2026 GR Supra page.

- Authentically licensed product from the Fast & Furious Saga.
- As seen in Fast & Furious, Brian's 1995 Toyota Supra has been taken directly from the big screen and brought to you in a 1:32 scale die - cast model
- Crafted from durable materials such as 100% die - cast metal and premium rubber tires.
- Our high - end casting method allows for feature rich details, such as an opening doors.
- This premium die - cast model is a must have for any Fast & Furious collection
The GT4’s seven-speed paddle-shift automatic and race equipment therefore should not be attributed to the road-going model, and the road car’s acceleration claim says nothing by itself about the GT4’s track results.

Toyota’s 2019 customer-sales announcement described the GT4 as a competition car for race participants, not a car for public-road use. It also listed a historical launch price of €175,000 before taxes, customs, logistics and other costs; that figure is not a current price. The release named regional customer sales and support organizations, but prospective buyers should confirm present availability and terms directly with Toyota.
