The 2026 Lexus IS 350 is the one current U.S. sedan identified here with a V6, but the Lexus USA material reviewed does not specify whether that engine is naturally aspirated. That means the available evidence supports calling it a V6 sedan—not confirming that it meets the naturally aspirated criterion or that it is the only one on sale.
The 2026 Lexus IS 350 is the verified V6 sedan candidate
Lexus USA says the 2026 IS will be offered only as the IS 350, in F SPORT Design and F SPORT grades. Its 3.5-liter V6 is rated at 311 horsepower and 280 lb.-ft. of torque, and buyers can choose rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. See the Lexus USA 2026 IS announcement and the 2026 IS model page.
Transmission depends on drivetrain: Lexus USA’s newsroom description specifies an eight-speed automatic for RWD versions and a six-speed automatic for AWD versions. These details identify the configurations; they do not establish the engine’s induction type.
Is the Lexus IS 350 naturally aspirated?
The U.S. Lexus sources cited above identify a 3.5-liter V6 but do not say whether it is naturally aspirated. A Canadian Lexus source describes the engine as naturally aspirated, but that is not U.S.-market documentation, so it cannot settle the question for the U.S. model. Without an explicit U.S. technical specification, the IS 350 should be treated as an unconfirmed candidate for a list specifically limited to naturally aspirated V6 sedans.

Why “the only” is not established
Confirming the sole naturally aspirated V6 sedan in the United States requires checking every new sedan offered for the relevant model year, including its engine, induction and U.S. sale status. The evidence available here identifies the Lexus as a candidate and checks two prominent alternatives; it does not provide that exhaustive market census. Lineups also change by model year, so any definitive answer needs a stated year and market.

2026 Toyota Camry
Toyota’s official specifications list a 2.5-liter four-cylinder, and its 2026 comparison page describes the current Camry as a hybrid. It is not a V6 alternative. See Toyota’s 2026 Camry specifications.

2026 Honda Accord
Honda says the Accord LX and SE use a 1.5-liter turbo engine, while the lineup also includes hybrid versions. It is not a naturally aspirated V6 alternative. See Honda’s 2026 Accord announcement.
Those examples help rule out two familiar sedans, but they do not prove that every other new U.S. sedan has been checked.

What to verify when comparing V6 sedans
- Induction: Check a U.S.-market technical specification that explicitly identifies the engine as naturally aspirated or turbocharged.
- Model year and availability: Confirm the car is offered new in the United States for the specific year you are considering.
- Configuration: Compare drivetrain, trim and transmission; the IS 350’s transmission differs between RWD and AWD.
- Ownership costs: Use current U.S. pricing and fuel-economy figures from sources that specify the relevant trim and configuration. Those figures are not established here.
