The 2026 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing is a four-door luxury sport sedan. Cadillac specifies a hand-built, supercharged 6.2-liter V8 and offers the car with either a six-speed manual or a 10-speed automatic. Its published figures with the manual are 668 horsepower and 659 lb-ft of torque; those are Cadillac specifications, not independent test results. Does “the only one left in America” hold up?
Not as an established, market-wide fact. Cars.com describes the CT5-V Blackwing as “the last midsize sports sedan with an available six-speed manual” on its 2026 CT5-V research page. That is a narrower claim: it does not establish that no other sedan in any category currently sold in the United States has a V8, rear-wheel drive and a factory manual transmission.
The answer also depends on what “left” and “available” mean. A model offered new, an unsold vehicle still sitting at a dealer, and any car that can be found used are different groups. The sources cited here do not provide a census of all qualifying models or establish the Blackwing’s current production status. So the CT5-V Blackwing is a clearly documented match, but the absolute “only one” claim should be treated as unverified.
