Yes—but only the front-wheel-drive S and SV are below $30,000 by MSRP, and that is before destination, taxes, and other charges. Nissan’s revised 2025 prices put the S FWD at $28,590 and the SV FWD at $29,590. The $1,390 destination and handling charge brings the S FWD to $29,980 before taxes and other costs; the S AWD’s $29,990 MSRP becomes $31,380 with destination.
Which 2025 Nissan Rogue trims are under $30,000?
Nissan’s April 1, 2025 revised MSRP list puts two configurations below $30,000 before destination: the S FWD and SV FWD. The S AWD technically has a sub-$30,000 MSRP, but its destination charge takes the price above that threshold.
| 2025 Rogue configuration | Revised MSRP | MSRP change | MSRP plus $1,390 destination |
|---|---|---|---|
| S FWD | $28,590 | -$640 | $29,980 |
| SV FWD | $29,590 | -$1,380 | $30,980 |
| SL FWD | $35,090 | -$1,000 | $36,480 |
| Platinum FWD | $38,590 | -$930 | $39,980 |
| S AWD | $29,990 | -$640 | $31,380 |
| SV AWD | $30,990 | -$1,380 | $32,380 |
| Rock Creek AWD | $33,490 | -$1,930 | $34,880 |
| SL AWD | $36,490 | -$1,000 | $37,880 |
| Platinum AWD | $39,990 | -$930 | $41,380 |
MSRPs, changes, and the $1,390 destination and handling charge are from Nissan North America’s April 1, 2025 pricing announcement. The destination-inclusive figures above are calculated by adding that charge to each MSRP; they still exclude taxes, title, license, options, and any dealer-set price adjustments. Nissan says, “Dealer sets actual price.” Nissan’s 2025 Rogue pricing announcement provides the list-price details.
How much is a 2025 Rogue after destination?
The cheapest listed configuration, the S FWD, comes to $29,980 after Nissan’s destination and handling charge, leaving it just $20 below $30,000 before taxes and other costs. The SV FWD is $30,980 with destination. The S AWD is $31,380 with destination, so it is not a sub-$30,000 purchase on that basis even though its MSRP alone is $29,990.

These are not out-the-door prices or guarantees of a dealer’s offer. Nissan’s release excludes taxes, title, license, and options from MSRP and says dealers set actual prices. No current incentive or transaction price is established by the manufacturer’s MSRP announcement. Ask for an itemized local quote that separates the vehicle price, destination, options, dealer-installed items, and taxes and fees.
What do you get with the least expensive Rogue?
Every 2025 Rogue grade uses a 1.5-liter Variable Compression Turbo engine rated at 201 horsepower and 225 lb-ft of torque, paired with Nissan’s Xtronic CVT. Nissan lists EPA-estimated combined fuel economy of 33 mpg for the S and SV FWD, and 31 mpg for the S and SV AWD. Those estimates are not guaranteed real-world mileage; Nissan’s brochure cautions, “Actual mileage may vary with driving conditions.”

The Rogue seats five. Nissan lists maximum cargo capacity as 36.5 cubic feet without a moonroof and 36.3 cubic feet with one. Those figures describe capacity, not a comparative ranking against other crossovers.
Standard safety and infotainment
Nissan says all grades include Safety Shield 360: Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Departure Warning, High Beam Assist, and Rear Automatic Braking. S, SV, and Rock Creek use an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen. SL and Platinum get a 12.3-inch touchscreen with Google built-in. Connected features and services may depend on subscriptions, as specified by Nissan.

Is AWD worth the extra cost?
The S AWD’s MSRP is $1,400 higher than the S FWD’s, and its destination-inclusive price is $1,400 higher as well. Nissan’s EPA combined estimates are 31 mpg for the S AWD and 33 mpg for the S FWD. The figures provide a straightforward trade-off to weigh against your need for all-wheel drive; they do not establish how either configuration will perform in your specific weather, terrain, or driving conditions.

At the other end of the range, the Rock Creek is AWD-only and has a more rugged equipment focus. Nissan lists all-terrain tires, Hill Descent Control, water-repellent leatherette seating, and an off-road view for its camera monitor. Its EPA combined estimate is 29 mpg. That equipment and drivetrain distinction—not a sub-$30,000 price—is the reason to consider it over the entry trim.

The SV FWD starts $1,000 above the S FWD by MSRP, while the AWD SV is likewise $1,000 above the S AWD. SL and Platinum cost substantially more and are the grades Nissan lists with a 12.3-inch touchscreen and Google built-in. Their EPA combined estimates are 32 mpg for FWD and 31 mpg for AWD.

ProPILOT Assist 2.1 is optional on SL and Platinum, according to Nissan’s press kit. It requires activation of the associated NissanConnect Services package. Nissan cautions drivers to remain attentive and ready to take control; it is a driver-assistance feature, not autonomous driving. Subscription and activation conditions matter when comparing the advertised equipment with what will be available on a particular vehicle.
Does the 2025 Rogue qualify as a bargain?
The price case is narrow but concrete: the S FWD is below $30,000 even after Nissan’s listed destination charge, while the SV FWD is below $30,000 only at MSRP before destination. The S AWD’s nearly $30,000 MSRP can be misleading if treated as a delivered price. Whether the Rogue is a bargain compared with another crossover depends on local quotes and the equipment you value; the listed Nissan prices alone do not establish that it costs less than every rival.
