The 2023 Chrysler 300C makes a credible case as a performance bargain—but only if the price and condition of the specific used car make sense. Chrysler announced a U.S. MSRP of $55,000 for a limited-run sedan with a 485-hp 6.4-liter HEMI V8 and upgraded performance hardware. Recent listings and one auction sale put some examples below that launch price, but asking prices and a single sale cannot establish what any particular 300C is worth.
What makes the final 300C special?
The 300C was a final-edition version of Chrysler’s full-size 300 sedan, built for the model’s last production year. Chrysler announced a production allocation of 2,000 cars for the United States and 200 for Canada. Stellantis later reported that reservations filled in 12 hours and that the final 300C left the production line in December 2023.
Those numbers explain the car’s exclusivity, but limited production alone does not guarantee future appreciation. The relevant buying question is whether this particular car’s price, condition and history justify paying for its performance and special equipment.
What performance and equipment do you get?
The 300C uses a naturally aspirated 6.4-liter (392-cubic-inch) HEMI V8 rated by Chrysler at 485 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque. Stellantis quoted a 0–60 mph time of 4.3 seconds and a 12.4-second quarter-mile; those are manufacturer-reported figures, not results from an independent test in this article.

How much does a 2023 Chrysler 300C cost?
Chrysler announced a $55,000 U.S. MSRP in 2022. That is the original manufacturer’s suggested retail price—not a current valuation or an all-in purchase price. The following marketplace figures provide context, but they are not a controlled estimate for a specific car.

The listing data show why mileage matters: the cited higher-mileage car was advertised for less than the lower-mileage example. But the figures do not isolate mileage as the cause of the difference, and an advertised price is not proof of the amount a buyer ultimately paid. The auction result is a completed sale, but one unusually low-mileage car cannot establish a typical market value.
When is the 300C a bargain?
The bargain argument rests on the combination of a large V8, substantial performance equipment and used examples advertised below the original $55,000 U.S. MSRP. The argument is conditional: the launch MSRP is a historical benchmark, while current value depends on the car and the deal in front of you. The available prices do not support a definitive comparison with rival performance sedans on a like-for-like basis.

Before deciding, compare the asking price with the car’s mileage and condition, then review:
- Title status, accident history and service records.
- Modifications and whether the original equipment is present.
- The condition of the tires and brakes, which can materially affect immediate ownership costs.
- Location and the full out-the-door price, including applicable fees.
Use listings as a starting point, not a quote for your local market. Prices and inventory change, and the cited marketplace figures are snapshots rather than a live valuation.

Does its rarity make it a collectible investment?
The limited allocation and the end of production make the 300C distinctive, and the low-mileage auction sale offers one example of buyer interest. Neither fact proves that values will rise. The available figures do not establish a verified national transaction-price trend or a long-term reliability assessment, and production rarity by itself is not evidence of a future return.
Buy it for the car’s performance, equipment and appeal at a price you can justify—not on the assumption that exclusivity guarantees appreciation.
