Hyundai Nishat lists two locally assembled-plan Palisade Hybrid trims in Pakistan: the eight-seat Smart at PKR 22,625,000 and the seven-seat Calligraphy at PKR 24,075,000, both ex-factory. Hyundai announced a local CKD assembly plan in February 2026, and a dealership display announcement followed in September. Neither announcement confirms that customer deliveries have begun.
Pakistan price and trim comparison
Hyundai Nishat Motor’s September 2026 price list gives the following ex-factory prices. It identifies both versions as the Palisade Hybrid.

The listed price difference is PKR 1,450,000. The price list also names heated and ventilated seats, BOSE speakers, smart cruise control, three-zone automatic climate control, dual sunroof and powered seats with lumbar support for both trims. The price list says freight and insurance are charged separately at actual cost. The ex-factory price includes Federal Excise Duty and applicable sales tax only; other government taxes, duties, levies, charges or fees may be payable separately. Hyundai Nishat describes the prices as provisional and subject to change without prior notice, with the invoicing price final. Reconfirm the current amount and applicable charges with a dealer before booking.

Powertrain and equipment shared by both trims
Hyundai Nishat’s price list specifies a Smartstream Gasoline 2.5 Turbo Hybrid AWD powertrain and six-speed automatic transmission for both the Smart and Calligraphy. The listed mechanical specification is therefore the same across the two trims; the stated differences are seating, wheel size and selected cabin features.
AWD alone does not establish how a vehicle performs off road. The available Pakistan-market material does not provide an off-road capability assessment, comparative fuel-economy figures, real-world economy, ride-quality findings, reliability data, safety-test results or local resale evidence. Buyers considering rough terrain should seek detailed capability information from Hyundai or a dealer rather than infer it from the AWD label.

Local assembly and launch timeline
- February 13, 2026: ProPakistani reported Hyundai Nishat’s announcement of a local Completely Knocked Down (CKD) assembly plan. The report attributed to the company the claim that Pakistan would be the first country outside South Korea to assemble the Palisade in CKD form. It also reported bookings opening in March and deliveries expected in August. The first-country claim is attributed company wording, not independently established here. - February 23, 2026: ProPakistani reported launch prices, partial booking amounts, bookings beginning February 24 and deliveries expected from August. Those were launch details; the September official price list is the current price reference. Read the booking and launch-price report.
- September 10, 2026: Hyundai Central announced that the Palisade Hybrid would be available for display at dealerships nationwide from that date. A display announcement does not prove that every dealership has a vehicle or offers test drives. See Hyundai Central’s display announcement.
- As of October 8, 2026: The reviewed official sources do not confirm that customer deliveries have started or state a current waiting time.
What to confirm with a dealer
Before placing an order, ask the dealership to confirm the current invoice price, freight and insurance, any additional government charges, the selected trim’s availability, whether a display vehicle or test drive is available at that location, and the expected delivery date for your booking. The published August date was an expectation reported in February, not confirmation of completed deliveries.
