Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteFor 2025, Toyota and Lexus document U.S. SUVs with hybrid V6 engines; BMW documents a plug-in hybrid inline-six X5, and Mazda Canada lists a mild-hybrid inline-six CX-90. That is a set of verified examples, not a complete worldwide list of every brand. “Hybrid six-cylinder” includes both V6 and inline-six engines; they are different layouts, and mild, conventional, and plug-in hybrid systems do not offer the same electric-driving capability.
Which automakers offer a hybrid six-cylinder in 2025?
The clearest way to compare the documented examples is by engine layout, hybrid type, market, and what the maker actually publishes. Output figures below are manufacturer-published, not results from a controlled comparison.
| Brand and model | Engine layout and hybrid system | Market and model-year evidence | Published figures |
|---|---|---|---|
| Toyota Sequoia | Twin-turbo V6; i-FORCE MAX hybrid | U.S.; Toyota says every 2025 Sequoia uses this powertrain | 437 hp and 583 lb-ft of torque, per Toyota’s 2024 release |
| Lexus LX 700h | Twin-turbo 3.4-liter V6 with hybrid system; nickel-metal-hydride battery and 10-speed automatic | U.S.; 2025 model, when hybrid power joined the LX line | 457 hp and 583 lb-ft of torque; EPA-estimated 20 mpg combined, per Lexus’s 2024 release |
| BMW X5 xDrive50e | Inline-six gasoline engine with electric motor; plug-in hybrid | U.S. lineup context; BMW material supports the configuration, but the cited sources do not establish a model-year-specific 2025 specification | 2025-specific figures: not stated in the cited sources |
| Mazda CX-90 MHEV | Turbocharged inline-six with 48-volt M Hybrid Boost mild-hybrid system | Canada; Mazda’s 2025 specification sheet | Performance or efficiency figures: not stated here |
Toyota: Sequoia
Toyota describes a motor-generator positioned between the V6 engine and the 10-speed automatic transmission in the Sequoia’s i-FORCE MAX system. The manufacturer says all 2025 Sequoias use it, rather than limiting the hybrid powertrain to a particular grade. See Toyota’s 2025 Sequoia announcement for its configuration and output figures.
Lexus: LX 700h
The 2025 LX 700h is a luxury off-road SUV with a twin-turbo V6 hybrid setup. Lexus reports its output and an EPA-estimated combined fuel economy figure; that estimate is a different measure from a real-world test and should not be treated as one. The hybrid was new to the LX line for this model year, according to Lexus’s 2025 LX 700h release.

BMW: X5 xDrive50e
The X5 xDrive50e is the plug-in hybrid example in this group. BMW describes it as pairing an electric motor with a six-cylinder inline gasoline engine, but the cited material does not verify exact U.S. 2025 model-year output or range. BMW’s U.S. plug-in hybrid overview covers the PHEV context; its X5 and X6 announcement describes the inline-six engine. Check a model-year-specific U.S. spec sheet before relying on figures for a particular 2025 vehicle.
Mazda: CX-90 MHEV
Mazda Canada’s 2025 CX-90 MHEV specification sheet identifies a turbocharged inline-six and a 48-volt M Hybrid Boost system. MHEV means mild hybrid: this is not a V6, and it is not the same kind of plug-in arrangement as the BMW. The specification is for Canada, so it does not by itself establish the configuration or availability in other markets. See Mazda Canada’s 2025 CX-90 MHEV specifications.

- Hotel-grade Comfort: The foam-air hybrid design provides stable support, pressure-relieving cushioning, and whisper-quiet sleep night after night. With an overall R-value of 9.3+, this SUV car mattress ensures excellent thermal insulation and is suitable for all-season use.
- High-Efficiency Pump System: This SUV car bed features a built-in pump system designed for superior airtightness and high-speed inflation deflation. Simply turn the dial to activate, the 80W high-power pump fully inflates the mattress in just 60 seconds. With a maximum pressure of 5.5kPa, it deflates the bed to a flat, rollable state within 90 seconds, making it easy to fold and store in the sub-trunk of your Tesla Model Y. The pump is rechargeable via USB-C, and its 7.4V 2500mAh battery delivers approximately 4–5 cycles on a full charge. When needed, the built-in LED light transforms the pump into a camping lantern, and it can also be used to inflate other air items separately.
- Smart Overheat Protection: Equipped with a high-power motor that delivers exceptional suction for vacuum-sealing sleeping pads, this pump is engineered with an intelligent overheat protection chip. To ensure longevity and safety, the system automatically pauses after 2.5 minutes of continuous built-in use or 5 minutes of external use—allowing the motor to cool down. Simply wait 10–15 minutes, and it's ready to power through another cycle.
- Uncompromising Reliability: A reliable car sleeping bed is the key to quality sleep during outdoor camping or road trips. This SUV car bed is engineered for maximum dependability across multiple fronts. 75D wear-resistant bottom fabric withstands rough terrain, while heat-sealed edges lock in air. 600 lbs weight capacity, holds over 95% of air volume all night long—no sagging, no refilling. 4-inch high-density memory foam provides reliable support even if the outer layer is accidentally punctured. Independent valve enables hand inflation/deflation as a fallback.
- Adjustable Firmness: The mattress firmness can be easily customized to your preference. Simply control the inflation amount, or after full inflation, press the spring-loaded air release valve inside the pump compartment to slowly release internal air for fine-tuned surface firmness adjustment. This feature helps relieve lower back discomfort and is especially user-friendly for middle-aged and elderly users.
Does “hybrid six-cylinder” mean a V6?
No. “Six-cylinder” describes the number of cylinders, while V6 and inline-six describe how they are arranged. Toyota Sequoia and Lexus LX 700h are the V6 examples above. BMW X5 xDrive50e and Mazda CX-90 MHEV use inline-six engines. If you are searching specifically for a hybrid V6, the BMW and Mazda examples do not qualify.
How do the hybrid systems differ?
- Non-plug-in hybrid: The Toyota and Lexus are described as hybrid vehicles, not plug-in hybrids. Their cited materials do not provide a separate electric-only range figure.
- Plug-in hybrid (PHEV): The BMW X5 xDrive50e pairs an inline-six with an electric motor. Plug-in capability distinguishes it from the non-plug-in Toyota and Lexus systems; use the exact model-year specifications to check its range and output.
- Mild hybrid (MHEV): Mazda identifies its CX-90 system as a 48-volt mild hybrid. That label should not be read as equivalent to a plug-in hybrid or as evidence of a published electric-only driving range.
These labels describe different kinds of electrification, so comparing only horsepower or the word “hybrid” can obscure what each system offers. Vehicle purpose also differs: the Sequoia is a large SUV, the LX is a luxury off-road SUV, and the X5 and CX-90 are premium crossovers.

Is this a complete list of hybrid six-cylinder brands?
No. The documented evidence here covers selected U.S. and Canadian models, not every automaker or market worldwide. Availability and powertrain details can also change by model year. A current model page is not enough on its own to prove a specific 2025 configuration.
For example, Porsche’s current U.S. Cayenne E-Hybrid page describes a 3.0-liter turbo V6 working with an electric motor, including in the E-Hybrid and S E-Hybrid. That page reflects a later model-year presentation, so it is useful for understanding the current configuration but does not confirm a 2025 offering. See Porsche’s current Cayenne E-Hybrid page.

A free storage bag is also included for convenient packing and transport.
- 【Important Usage Tips】 To help protect your vehicle’s paint, ensure the car surface is clean and free from large debris before installing the cover. Avoid placing the cover on a wet vehicle to reduce the risk of paint damage. When installing, locate the logo and the “FRONT” label positioned at the bottom center to correctly identify the front and rear sides.
For buyers, the practical check is to confirm the exact model year, market, and trim on the automaker’s specification sheet, then distinguish a V6 from an inline-six and a mild hybrid from a plug-in system.
