Formula 1: Drive to Survive Season 7 streams on Netflix. Select Season 7 to watch its 10 episodes about the 2024 F1 campaign—but availability while travelling depends on the Netflix catalogue in the country you are currently visiting.
Formula 1: Drive to Survive Season 7 is on Netflix. It premiered on 7 March 2025, contains 10 episodes, and follows the 2024 Formula 1 season. To watch, open the official Netflix title page or search the complete title in the Netflix app, sign in with a membership available in your current country, then choose Season 7.
“From anywhere” has an important limit: Netflix can be used while travelling, but the catalogue is licensed country by country. Season 7 is available from countries where Netflix currently carries it; a title, its downloads, language options, ratings and other details can change when you cross a border. Netflix is the official streaming destination, but availability is not a promise for every country.
Watch Season 7 on Netflix
- Visit the Formula 1: Drive to Survive page on Netflix, or open Netflix on your TV, phone, tablet, computer or supported streaming device.
- Sign in, or join using the plans, payment methods and prices Netflix displays for your current country. Do not rely on a price or plan feature quoted for another market.
- Open the season selector and choose Season 7.
- Start Episode 1, “Business As Usual.”
The Netflix listing now presents eight seasons, so make sure you select Season 7 rather than the newer season. Season 7 is the instalment built around the 2024 campaign and released just before the 2025 F1 season.

If you are travelling
You can use Netflix away from home on a mobile device or computer, and can sign in on a hotel or holiday-rental TV. However, Netflix applies the catalogue of the country you are visiting. That can affect whether Season 7 appears at all, as well as available audio and subtitles, maturity ratings, and whether a download can be made or continues to play.
If Season 7 is missing, or Netflix says it is unavailable in your area, treat that as a current regional-rights limitation. Check the local Netflix catalogue again later; rights can change. There is no reliable, supported workaround to promise in advance.
Do not rely on a VPN for catalogue access
A VPN is not a dependable way to restore a home-country Netflix catalogue. Netflix says VPN use can limit the service to titles with worldwide rights and may require the VPN to be turned off before locally available titles reappear. It can therefore make finding a regionally licensed title harder, not easier.

Download episodes before a trip
The Netflix title page currently marks the series as available to download. That can be useful for flights and unreliable connections, but it is offline playback inside the Netflix app—not a video file you can transfer or keep permanently.
- Use the current Netflix app on a supported device. Netflix identifies Android phones and tablets, iPhone and iPad, Amazon Fire tablets, and compatible Chromebooks as download-capable categories.
- Download on the same device you intend to use offline.
- Allow time and storage space for the episodes before leaving Wi-Fi.
- Check the downloaded episodes before departure. Downloads can expire, and an existing download may become unavailable after travel to another country.
For that reason, downloading ahead is sensible preparation, not a guarantee that every episode will remain playable abroad.
What Formula 1: Drive to Survive Season 7 covers
Season 7 goes behind the scenes of the 2024 Formula 1 season: resurgent teams, a tense driver market, controversy away from the circuit and changes within teams during the year. Plans, devices and ratings: what not to assume
Netflix membership options vary by market, as do payment methods and plan features. A plan, price, free-trial offer, resolution option or download entitlement seen in one country should not be assumed elsewhere. Use Netflix’s local sign-up flow to see the terms that apply where you are.
The accessed Netflix listing carries a TV-MA rating, but ratings can differ by country. Similarly, language and subtitle choices are local-catalogue details rather than universal features.

Should you buy anything to watch it?
No physical purchase is needed. The official listing is for Netflix streaming and supported offline downloads; no verified official Season 7 DVD or Blu-ray release is required for access. A compatible streaming device can help only if you do not already have a supported TV, phone, tablet or computer, but it is optional and not specific to this series. Netflix gift cards and F1 merchandise likewise do not unlock availability in a country where the title is not currently licensed.

The Bottom Line
Open Netflix’s official title page, select Season 7 and watch where the local Netflix catalogue carries it. Travel is supported, but catalogue rights and downloads can change by country; do not count on a VPN or a pre-trip download as a universal solution.
