In India, Formula 1 is currently available through FanCode. FanCode is F1’s exclusive Indian broadcast partner through the end of the 2028 season, covering every Practice session, Qualifying, Sprint and Grand Prix. The reported 2026 FanCode Formula 1 Season Pass costs ₹799 and includes all 24 race weekends, full race replays, and coverage of F2, F3 and F1 Academy.
Formula 1’s official broadcast directory lists the Indian service as “FanCode TATA Play FanCode Sports.” F1 TV Pro and F1 TV Premium are also part of the India partnership, but the exact purchase route and package availability should be checked in the current FanCode or F1 TV checkout flow before subscribing.

Where to watch F1 in India
For the current rights period, the answer is FanCode—not Star Sports, Disney+ Hotstar or JioHotstar. Formula 1 has announced FanCode as its exclusive Indian broadcast partner through the end of the 2028 season.
The agreement covers the complete F1 weekend:
- Practice sessions
- Qualifying
- Sprint events
- The main Grand Prix
Formula 1’s official broadcast directory currently identifies India as “FanCode TATA Play FanCode Sports.” Use that page and FanCode’s own event listing to confirm the latest availability for a specific race.

FanCode 2026 Formula 1 Season Pass
According to a February 2026 report on FanCode’s season offering, the 2026 Formula 1 Season Pass is priced at ₹799. The reported package includes:
- All 24 F1 race weekends in the 2026 season
- Practice
- Qualifying
- Sprint sessions
- The main race
- Full race replays
- F2 coverage
- F3 coverage
- F1 Academy coverage
The same report lists streaming at 1080p and 50 frames per second, with viewing on up to two devices. These package specifications come from the reported 2026 FanCode announcement, rather than Formula 1’s rights announcement, so check the purchase screen for the terms that apply when you subscribe.
FanCode also offered a Race Weekend Pass for individual events. The available research does not state its current price, so do not assume that it is cheaper than the season pass without checking the live listing.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteWho should choose the Season Pass?
The ₹799 pass is the straightforward choice if you expect to watch most of the season. It includes more than the Sunday race and is particularly useful if you want live Practice and Qualifying, Sprint weekends, or replay access after a race has finished.
If you only plan to watch one event, look for the Race Weekend Pass instead. Compare its current price with the season pass before paying: a few individual weekends can make the full-season option better value.
Is F1 TV Pro available in India?
Yes, Formula 1’s current India rights announcement says that F1 TV Pro and F1 TV Premium are available through FanCode in India and the other markets covered by the partnership. This means that the old advice—“F1 TV Pro is unavailable in India”—is no longer supported by the current official information.
F1 TV Pro is a more data-rich product than a conventional broadcast stream. According to Formula 1’s F1 TV Pro overview, it includes:
Recommended Free Tools
- Live F1, F2, F3, F1 Academy and Porsche Supercup events
- Full-session replays and highlights
- Live onboard feeds from all 22 F1 cars
- Live timing and real-time race data
- Lap times, weather information, tyre usage and strategy data
- Pre-race and post-race shows
- Analysis, documentaries and exclusive features
- Access to the historical F1 archive
That makes F1 TV Pro the better fit for viewers who want to follow individual drivers from their onboard cameras, monitor timing screens, or study strategy rather than simply watch the world feed.

How do you buy F1 TV Pro in India?
The rights announcement says F1 TV Pro and F1 TV Premium are sold through FanCode in India. However, a February 2026 report described direct purchase through the F1 TV app and website at that time, while saying FanCode availability was planned for later in the season. Because those statements describe different points in the rollout, the purchase route should be treated as date-sensitive.
- Open the current FanCode listing for Formula 1, or the official F1 TV information page.
- Check whether the checkout offers the standard FanCode Formula 1 pass, F1 TV Pro or F1 TV Premium.
- Read the package description, device limits and renewal terms shown at checkout.
- Pay only after confirming that the plan provides the features you want in India.
Do not rely on an old pricing article or an overseas F1 TV page to determine current Indian availability. F1 TV is offered only in selected countries, and its features and purchase options are territory-dependent.
FanCode versus F1 TV Pro: which should you choose?
| Feature | FanCode 2026 Season Pass | F1 TV Pro |
|---|---|---|
| Indian availability | Yes; FanCode is the exclusive Indian F1 broadcaster through 2028 | Available through the India partnership, subject to the current purchase flow |
| Reported 2026 price | ₹799 for the season pass | Not established in the supplied research |
| F1 live sessions | Practice, Qualifying, Sprint and Grand Prix | Live F1 coverage, plus additional series |
| Replays | Full race replays are included in the reported package | Full-session replays and highlights |
| Support series | F2, F3 and F1 Academy are reported as included | F2, F3, F1 Academy and Porsche Supercup |
| Extra data | Use the features shown in the FanCode listing | Onboards from all 22 cars, live timing and real-time data |
| Reported video specification | 1080p at 50 fps | Check the applicable plan and current device requirements |
| Reported device limit | Up to two devices | Plan-specific limits; check the F1 TV subscription comparison |
Choose FanCode’s season pass if your priority is a simple, relatively low-cost way to watch the Indian F1 broadcast throughout the season. Choose F1 TV Pro if its Indian checkout offers the feeds and data features you specifically want, especially driver onboards, live timing and the archive.
Do not assume that subscribing to both services gives you two independent sets of unrestricted access. Each service has its own account, device and usage conditions.
How to find the F1 race time in India
Do not calculate the start time from the race date alone. An F1 weekend may include Practice, Qualifying, a Sprint and the Grand Prix at different local times, and the relevant Indian viewing time can change from one event to the next.
Before each weekend:
- Open Formula 1’s official broadcast information page.
- Use the site’s Schedule section to check the session timetable.
- Check FanCode’s event listing for the Indian broadcast start time and available replay.
- Confirm whether the weekend includes a Sprint and whether the listing separates Practice, Qualifying and the Grand Prix.
Formula 1 specifically directs viewers to local listings for exact television and coverage details. The official F1 site also provides Schedule, Results, Standings, Drivers and Teams sections, which are useful for checking a weekend without relying on social-media posts or outdated search results.
Can you watch F1 replays in India?
Yes. The reported 2026 FanCode package includes full race replays, and F1 TV Pro includes full-session replays and highlights. That allows you to watch after the live broadcast if the race takes place at an inconvenient time.

Check the individual event page for the replay’s availability and labeling. A “race replay” may refer specifically to the Grand Prix, while F1 TV’s “full-session replays” can cover Practice, Qualifying and other sessions as well.

Can two people share one F1 TV account?
F1 TV’s terms are stricter than simply counting the number of screens a plan can technically play on. The service is intended for personal, non-commercial use. The terms prohibit sharing passwords or access codes, allowing another person to use the account, or permitting simultaneous access by another person.
F1 TV also applies plan-specific limits to simultaneous streams and permitted devices. Those limits are defined through the F1 TV subscription terms and the linked “F1 TV subscription comparison” help page.
For the reported FanCode 2026 Season Pass, the stated allowance is up to two devices. That is a FanCode package detail and should not be treated as the F1 TV limit.
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Can you record, download or restream F1 TV?
F1 TV’s terms prohibit copying, recording, downloading, redistributing, retransmitting or publicly displaying its content, except for transient technical copies or where otherwise permitted by law. A subscription is therefore not permission to restream a race, show it publicly, upload clips, or distribute a downloaded copy.
The terms also prohibit using technology to alter, mask or disguise the location from which the service is accessed, including tools intended to bypass geographic or service restrictions. F1 may suspend or terminate access for payment failures, suspected fraud, violations of the terms or suspected circumvention.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Why Star Sports, Disney+ Hotstar and JioHotstar results can be misleading
Older Indian F1 guides often say to watch through Star Sports or Disney+ Hotstar. That advice belongs to a previous rights arrangement and should not be used for the current season. Formula 1’s current rights announcement names FanCode as the exclusive Indian broadcaster through 2028.
An old Hotstar FAQ still mentions F1 among its live sports and lists legacy Premium prices, but it does not establish current F1 rights. It conflicts with Formula 1’s current FanCode announcement and should not be treated as evidence that Hotstar carries present-day F1.
The same legacy FAQ lists requirements such as Chrome 49, Firefox 44, Safari 9.1, Windows 7 and Adobe Flash Player. These are obsolete documentation, not current requirements for watching F1 on FanCode or F1 TV. It also describes Hotstar-specific DRM, private-browser and concurrent-playback behavior; those rules should not be transferred to FanCode or F1 TV.
