That’s where you’ll find field of view (FOV), seat position, camera movement, and projection controls—not in the ordinary Video menu.
Where to find ACC camera settings
- Enter a session and get into the car.
- Open the in-session menu. On PC, a September 2023 Steam Community discussion gives Escape as the typical key; on a controller, use the displayed menu control or check your bindings.
- Select View Settings to access the driving-view options. The independent United Corsa settings reference, checked against the current configuration model in August 2026, lists camera and projection controls there.
Menu labels and available options can vary by game version or platform. Use the controls exposed by your copy of ACC rather than assuming every console and PC version presents an identical menu.
FOV and seat position do different jobs
Use FOV to change how much of the scene fits in the view. Use the position controls to move the viewpoint within the car. Changing one is not a substitute for changing the other.

There is no source-backed universal FOV or seat-position number that works for every driver, display, car, and camera. Make a small change to one control while stationary, then check the result on track before changing another.

Choose the driving view before fine-tuning
ACC offers different driving views, including cockpit, dash, helmet, and external perspectives. Choose the view you intend to use before dialing in its framing and position; a setting that makes sense for one perspective may not suit another. The View Settings reference also lists driver and steering-wheel visibility options, which let you change what appears in the driving view without shifting the camera itself.
Adjust motion separately from position
If the camera feels too active or too steady, look for the motion-related settings rather than repeatedly moving the seat. The listed controls include movement, dashcam factor, look-with-steer options, and Lock to Horizon. These affect camera behavior; they are not the same as height, lateral offset, distance, or pitch.

Try one motion setting at a time and judge the result while driving. There is no single motion value established as the correct or most realistic choice for every player.

- Triple screens: relevant settings include eye distance, screen width, bezel width, and side-screen angle.
- VR: relevant settings include pixel density, virtual-to-real scale, and render resolution, which involves visual-quality and performance tradeoffs.
Do not assume that changing single-screen FOV alone will correctly calibrate a triple-screen rig or VR headset.
Why a camera setting may seem not to carry over
A September 2023 Steam Community discussion reports that FOV is global across cars but specific to the selected driving view, while height, lateral position, distance, and pitch are specific to both car and view. This is community-reported behavior, not an official current manual. If a value appears different after switching, check which car and camera are selected and revisit View Settings for that combination.
The independent settings reference was checked against the current ACC configuration model in August 2026; the Steam discussion describing menu navigation and setting scope dates from September 2023. The available information does not establish a current, authoritative platform-by-platform control matrix, so confirm the options shown in your game.
