1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteYou can buy the FASTag Annual Pass through the Rajmargyatra app or the NHAI website. For FY 2026–27, it costs ₹3,075 and applies to an eligible existing FASTag. It covers designated National Highway and National Expressway toll plazas—not every road called an expressway. State- or locally managed tolls may still be charged.
How to buy the FASTag Annual Pass
- Check that your vehicle qualifies. The pass is for private, non-commercial cars, jeeps, and vans. NHAI checks vehicle eligibility through the VAHAN database; commercial use can result in deactivation.
- Check your existing FASTag. It must be properly affixed to the windshield, linked to a valid vehicle registration number, and not blacklisted. The pass is attached to an eligible existing tag, so you do not need to buy a new FASTag.
- Start activation through an official channel. Use the Rajmargyatra app or NHAI website. NHAI identifies these as the activation channels.
- Complete the eligibility check and pay. The fee is ₹3,075 for FY 2026–27, effective 1 April 2026, according to NHAI’s 15 March 2026 announcement.
- Check that activation has completed before travelling. NHAI says activation normally reaches the registered FASTag within two hours after successful payment. Allow more time if your departure depends on it.
Do not treat an unverified reseller or third-party payment page as an official activation route.
Can you use the Annual Pass on an expressway?
Yes, at designated National Expressway (NE) fee plazas. The pass also covers designated National Highway (NH) fee plazas. NHAI’s FAQ puts the boundary plainly: “It is valid only at National Highway (NH) and National Expressway (NE) fee plazas.” Read the NHAI Annual Pass FAQ.
That does not mean every road with “expressway” in its name is included. If an expressway or state highway is managed by a state government or local body, your FASTag works as a regular tag there and toll charges may apply. The pass is not a general toll subscription for all Indian roads, nor does it automatically cover parking or other non-eligible facilities.

- Important Note: These are blank cards without pre-programmed card numbers. You cannot directly add them to RFID locks or use a card reader to read them. Before use, you must first write data(card numbers) into them by a 125KHZ RFID card writer. They are not IC cards or NFC cards. They don't work for TTLock or Tuya smart locks which use 13.56MHZ frequency. More product info and FAQ is listed in the Product Description. Please read the description before purchase.

NHAI’s March 2026 release refers to about 1,150 fee plazas on National Highways and National Expressways for the revised fee. That is an approximate plaza count, not a claim that every toll point or every expressway is covered. Check the individual toll points on your planned journey using Rajmargyatra’s toll or route-planning information; the category alone cannot confirm a specific route.
What the fee buys—and when it makes sense
The ₹3,075 fee applies for FY 2026–27. The pass is valid for one year or 200 trips, whichever comes first. When either limit is reached, the FASTag returns to regular operation; a new pass period and trip allowance require reactivation.

To judge whether it suits your driving, add up your expected toll charges at the NH and NE plazas that are covered, then compare that total with ₹3,075. Keep tolls at state- or locally managed expressways and other non-covered points separate. Savings depend on your actual routes and number of crossings, so the pass is not automatically cheaper for every driver.
