The standard Nevera, Pininfarina Battista and Lotus Evija are its closest published-figure comparisons—but their manufacturers do not use or disclose one common test protocol, so the numbers below are not a head-to-head test.
How fast is the Rimac Nevera R?
Rimac’s current Nevera R model page lists 2,107 hp, 1.66 seconds from 0–60 mph, 1.72 seconds from 0–100 km/h and a 430 km/h top speed under manufacturer oversight. Rimac describes the R as a more cornering-focused evolution, with enhanced mechanical grip and downforce alongside its increased power.
The acceleration figure has changed across Rimac’s announcements. Its August 16, 2024 launch release claimed 1.74 seconds to 60 mph and 1.81 seconds to 100 km/h; Rimac’s 2025 records announcement later gave 1.66 seconds to 60 mph. The launch release also announced a run of 40 cars worldwide and quoted the company: “With 2,107hp available, it’s even quicker than the record-breaking Nevera.” That statement reflects the launch-era context, when Rimac’s stated 0–60 mph time was 1.74 seconds.
Rimac’s current Nevera R page and its 2024 launch release give different top-speed figures: the current page says 430 km/h under manufacturer oversight, while the launch release listed 412 km/h / 256 mph. Those are source-specific claims, not interchangeable conversions.

How does the Nevera R compare with its rivals?
These are manufacturer-published figures, not results from a shared test. In particular, 0–60 mph and 0–100 km/h describe different acceleration intervals. Rimac specifies a one-foot rollout on its standard Nevera page; the reviewed pages do not establish one common protocol across every model and measure.

What the comparison says—and what it does not
Against the standard Nevera
The Nevera R’s listed output is 193 hp higher than the standard Nevera’s 1,914 hp, and Rimac’s current figures put its 0–60 mph claim 0.08 seconds lower. Both are Rimac claims, and the R’s stated purpose is not just more power: Rimac also emphasizes grip and downforce for cornering. For baseline context, the standard Nevera page lists 412 km/h (258 mph) and 489 km of WLTP range.

Against the Pininfarina Battista
The Battista’s published 1,900 hp, four-motor layout, 120 kWh battery and 1.86-second 0–100 km/h claim make it the most fully specified rival in this comparison. Its listed 476 km range should not be treated as directly equivalent to the Nevera’s 489 km WLTP figure: Pininfarina’s reviewed page does not state the range test cycle.
Against the Lotus Evija
Lotus describes the Evija’s 2,000 PS / 1,500 kW as a target, not as the same kind of current listed output Rimac gives for the Nevera R. Lotus says the car can reach 0–100 km/h in under three seconds and exceed 320 km/h, but those thresholds are less precise than exact figures for ranking models numerically.

Why the numbers need context
- Power units differ. The Nevera R and Battista figures are stated in horsepower, while Lotus gives a target in PS and kilowatts. Do not read the Evija’s target as a confirmed figure equivalent to a current model-page claim.
- Acceleration intervals differ. A time to 60 mph is not the same measurement as a time to 100 km/h. The metric interval is slightly longer, and the manufacturers’ cited pages do not document a shared test setup for all three cars.
- Range labels differ or are absent. Rimac explicitly identifies the standard Nevera’s 489 km range as WLTP. The Battista page lists 476 km but does not state a test cycle there; the reviewed Nevera R and Evija pages do not state range figures.
- Claims are version- and date-specific. Rimac’s current Nevera R page, 2024 launch release and 2025 records release do not all publish the same figures. Use the stated source and context rather than treating every number as a single timeless specification.
