What does the Hellephant cost?
Stellantis announced a U.S. MSRP of $34,995 for the relaunched Hellephant A30 426 Supercharged Crate HEMI on November 3, 2025. That is the engine’s suggested retail price, not a confirmed transaction price or a complete installed-build budget. Stellantis’ announcement directs buyers to Direct Connection for ordering information.
Mopar’s engine accessories page still shows an older Hellephant price of $29,995 and a $2,265 engine-kit reference. Those listings conflict with the newer announcement and appear to be legacy information; do not rely on them as current pricing. Confirm the price directly with Direct Connection or a seller before ordering. Mopar’s engine accessories page also lists Mopar Performance contact details.
The $34,995 MSRP does not establish freight, taxes, installation labor, or the cost of supporting parts and drivetrain work. Get a quote for the specific vehicle and build rather than treating the engine price as the project total.

How to buy a Hellephant A30
- Start with the manufacturer’s ordering channel. Stellantis said ordering opened through Direct Connection at the 2025 SEMA Show and points buyers to DCPerformance.com for ordering information and product details.
- Give the seller the exact engine identification. Ask for the Direct Connection Hellephant A30 426 Supercharged Crate HEMI, part number 5160194AD.
- Ask for an itemized, current quote. Confirm the engine price and stock, the separate controller kit’s price and availability, shipping, applicable warranty terms, and whether the intended vehicle fits the announced application.
- Confirm the controller-kit purchase condition. Mopar’s eStore says kit 77072500AE must be purchased on the same invoice as the engine for its listed warranty to apply. Ask the seller to confirm the terms applicable to your order.
Mopar’s engine accessories page lists Mopar Performance inquiries at 866-843-0117 and [email protected]. Contact details and a product listing are not proof of live inventory, so confirm stock with the seller.
What comes with the engine—and what is separate?
The A30 engine
Stellantis describes the A30 as a 426-cubic-inch engine rated by the manufacturer at 1,000 horsepower and 950 lb-ft of torque. Its listed hardware includes a redesigned Gen III aluminum HEMI block, forged-steel crankshaft and connecting rods, and an upgraded IHI 3.0L twin-screw supercharger. Premium fuel is recommended. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent test results.

The controller kit
The upgraded plug-and-play engine controller kit, part 77072500AE, is sold separately. Mopar’s eStore lists these contents:
- Crate-engine wiring and power distribution center (PDC) kit
- PCM
- Wideband oxygen sensors
- Ground jumper
- Accelerator pedal
- Intake duct
- Charge-air temperature sensor
- CAN bus interface device
- Fuel-pump control module
- Instructions
The eStore describes a three-year/100,000-mile powertrain limited parts-exchange warranty for its HEMI crate engine kits, subject to the controller kit being purchased on the same invoice as the engine. Confirm the current terms and coverage for the exact engine and kit you buy with the seller. Mopar’s engine-kit page provides the kit listing and warranty condition.

Stellantis says the relaunched A30 can be used in race-only or pre-1976 vehicles when paired with the upgraded controller kit. That statement is not a blanket approval for street use. Emissions compliance, registration, and road legality depend on the vehicle and jurisdiction; verify those requirements with the relevant authorities before planning a road-going installation.
A 2019 Stellantis announcement described the original Hellephant and kit for pre-1976 street and off-road vehicles. That is historical product context, not current legal guidance or a substitute for checking the relaunched A30’s terms and local rules. The original announcement concerns the earlier offering.
