Lucid does not publish a fixed customer-pay price for replacing a high-voltage battery pack in the official North American materials reviewed. The cost depends on what diagnosis finds and what repair is needed, so an owner should confirm warranty eligibility and request a written, vehicle-specific estimate from Lucid before relying on any dollar figure.
What Lucid’s warranty covers
Lucid’s North American New Vehicle Limited Warranty, version 2025.11.2, covers the high-voltage battery for 8 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first, with a minimum 70% capacity-retention condition. Those are warranty terms, not a promise about how long a battery will last or a replacement price. Lucid’s warranty document sets out the terms for that version; coverage can differ by model year, purchase or lease timing, and region, so check the document that applies to your vehicle. Lucid’s warranty page lists warranty documents.
If the battery meets the warranty condition, Lucid may repair, replace, or adjust it. The warranty allows Lucid to use a new, reconditioned, or remanufactured part at its discretion; it does not guarantee that every concern will result in a brand-new complete pack. The warranty also says Lucid’s trained and authorized representatives determine capacity and select the measurement method.
Why a range estimate does not settle eligibility
The range shown in a Lucid is an estimate, not a direct measurement of battery capacity. Lucid’s warranty notes that displayed range can be affected by driving conditions and habits, among other factors. A lower-than-expected range reading alone therefore does not establish that the battery has fallen below the warranty threshold; Lucid’s authorized representatives must assess capacity under the applicable warranty terms. - Replacement batteries for a Lucid Air with a low or dead key fob battery.
- Includes two (2) CR2032 3V car key batteries.
How to get a reliable replacement-cost estimate
- Check the applicable warranty. Confirm your vehicle’s model year, market, and purchase or lease timing, then use the corresponding Lucid warranty document. Do not assume the 2025 North American terms apply to every Lucid.
- Arrange a diagnosis with Lucid. Owners can arrange service through the Lucid app or a service center. Lucid’s service page explains its service options.
- Ask for a written, itemized estimate. Request that the estimate identify diagnostic charges, whether the proposed work is a component repair or full pack replacement, parts, labor, taxes, and any warranty or goodwill adjustment. This helps distinguish a repair from a pack replacement rather than treating them as the same job.
- Check what part and coverage the quote includes. If replacement is proposed, ask whether the part is new, reconditioned, or remanufactured, and what warranty applies to the repair. Lucid’s warranty permits those part types for covered repairs, but the public materials reviewed do not establish a standard out-of-warranty menu price.
Online speculation, a single owner anecdote, estimates for a different vehicle, and battery-cell commodity prices are not a dependable substitute for a current Lucid quote. No fixed customer-pay traction-pack price is stated in the official warranty or service materials reviewed.

This cost question usually refers to the high-voltage traction battery that powers the vehicle. A Lucid also has a separate 12-volt accessory battery. Its replacement is a different repair and should not be confused with replacing the traction pack; ask the service center which battery a diagnosis or estimate concerns.
