A replacement battery’s parts warranty is separate from the vehicle’s original hybrid battery warranty. Lexus’s limited warranty for parts states that a high-voltage battery installed by an authorized Lexus dealer, excluding commercial, fleet, or livery vehicles, is covered for 36 months regardless of mileage from installation or for the remainder of the new-vehicle limited warranty, whichever provides greater coverage. It states that a high-voltage battery not installed by an authorized Lexus dealer and/or installed on a commercial, fleet, or livery vehicle is covered under the 12-month Lexus Service Parts Limited Warranty.
