The available prices are local scheduled-service offers for standard Porsche 993s—not quotes for a bespoke Gunther Werks build and not an all-in ownership budget. Use them as reference points only; for a meaningful figure, request a written estimate for the specific car, its location, mileage, build and service history.
What the published 993 service prices show
Two Porsche-center price lists provide useful examples of scheduled service, but their scope and markets differ. The figures below were published by the named centers and accessed in 2026. They include the stated taxes or materials but exclude additional work, so they should not be treated as directly comparable or averaged into an annual estimate.

| Porsche Centrum Rotterdam, Netherlands | Tiptronic 993 service: 80,000 km | €2,549 | VAT included; additional work agreed separately. |
| Porsche Zentrum Frankfurt, Germany | 993 Carrera maintenance offer | From €1,255 | Materials and VAT included; additional work excluded. |
These are prices in euros from Dutch and German centers, not US estimates or a quote for a Gunther Werks car. The Rotterdam listing separates manual and Tiptronic services by mileage interval; the Frankfurt offer is described differently. Differences in market, vehicle description, interval and included scope prevent a like-for-like price comparison. Confirm the current offer and precisely what it covers with the center before using it to plan spending.

Frankfurt also lists maintenance for a standard 993 Turbo from €1,195, with additional work excluded. That is a separate model description, not a Gunther Werks estimate, and it should not be substituted for the Carrera offer or treated as evidence of what any particular remastered car costs. The separate entries illustrate why the vehicle variant and the shop’s definition of the service matter when comparing prices.

- Replacement of failed fuel pump relay instantly restores proper pump circuit performance
- Direct-fit OE reproduction design for easy plug-and-play installation
- Manufactured using high-quality materials to withstand intense vehicle heat and cold-weather condensation that can damage lesser quality relays
- Modern electronics resist electrical arcing and burnout for long-term reliability
The Rotterdam amounts are tied to mileage intervals—20,000, 40,000 and 80,000 km—not to a calendar-year ownership period. An owner cannot simply choose one figure and call it an annual budget: the relevant service depends on the car’s mileage and service history, and additional work is outside the listed amounts. Nor should the figures be added together as though every owner incurs all three in one year.
Why a standard 993 price is only a starting point
Gunther Werks describes its cars as remastered builds based on the Porsche 993 platform. That makes ordinary 993 service information relevant as context, but not a complete service plan for every car. The actual work and quote need to account for the individual build and the parts, systems and modifications present on that vehicle. The published center prices do not disclose a Gunther Werks-specific service menu or labor rate.
Maintenance and repairs also need to be kept separate when comparing a quote. The listed dealer offers are scheduled-service examples, and both exclude additional work. They do not establish what an inspection might find, what repair work a particular car needs, or how often repairs occur. An estimate that includes routine service alone is not an estimate of all ownership costs.

There is also no reliable way to convert the mileage-based Dutch examples into a yearly figure without knowing how much a particular owner drives, which services fall due, and whether any additional work is required. The available information does not establish a typical annual repair frequency or a representative annual cost for Gunther Werks cars. A low-mileage year and a year in which mileage-based service comes due may involve different work; the price lists do not supply a formula for forecasting either.

Condition and documentation matter to the estimate, too. A shop needs the vehicle’s service history and a chance to assess what work is actually due. If records are incomplete, the estimator may need to separate known scheduled items from questions that remain unresolved until inspection. The sources do not provide an individual car’s repair record or a typical repair bill, so neither can be inferred from the scheduled-service examples.
How to get a useful estimate for a specific car
- Identify the exact car. Provide its VIN, model or build details, transmission, current mileage, location and intended use. Ask the seller or current owner for service records and a list of modifications; do not assume a standard 993 price list captures them.
- Ask Gunther Werks or a listed authorized dealer who can assess it. Gunther Werks publishes an authorized-dealer directory, but the directory by itself does not establish that every listed dealer performs every type of work. Confirm that the proposed shop can inspect and service this exact build.
- Request an itemized written estimate. Ask the shop to separate scheduled service, inspection or diagnostic work, and any repairs it recommends. Have it identify parts and fluids, labor, taxes, and whether any additional work is excluded or requires approval.
- Supply the service history and clarify assumptions. Ask the estimator to state which prior work it has relied on and what remains unknown if records are incomplete. Request that any provisional estimate distinguish confirmed work from items that can only be priced after inspection.
- Confirm warranty terms before authorizing covered work. Check the written terms and vehicle records for coverage, exclusions, start date, mileage conditions and transfer terms. Ask whether a repair is potentially covered and whether it must be performed by a particular facility.
- Compare estimates on the same basis. Check that each covers the same work and makes clear the market and currency, transmission or build variant, service interval, parts and fluids, tax, inspection scope and excluded repairs. A lower scheduled-service figure may omit work included in another estimate.
When requesting a quote, it is useful to ask the shop to spell out what the scheduled service includes rather than relying on a label such as “maintenance.” Ask whether its price includes materials, fluids, taxes and inspection, and whether any diagnostic time or work discovered during inspection will be billed separately. The Rotterdam and Frankfurt pages explicitly exclude additional work, but they do not describe every possible line item in a quote for a modified car.
Also ask how the shop handles approval before additional work begins. A written estimate should make clear which work is authorized, what would trigger a revised quote, and whether inspection or diagnostic charges apply if no repair is approved. These details will not make prices from different countries identical, but they help prevent a scheduled-service number from being mistaken for a complete repair estimate.
This process will not produce a universal annual average, but it can establish a budget for the particular car and the work currently known. If a shop cannot price modification-specific work without inspecting the vehicle, ask for the inspection charge and approval process before booking.

Warranty and service choices
Gunther Werks currently presents warranty coverage as five years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first, and describes support and maintenance as part of its ownership offering. Its October 28, 2025 announcement said the warranty applied retroactively to all Gunther Werks vehicles. Those company statements do not establish that a given car, repair or owner is eligible under the terms that apply to that VIN. Verify coverage against the current written warranty and vehicle records rather than treating an advertised term as automatic payment for a repair.
In particular, establish which warranty version applies, when coverage began, how mileage is counted, whether coverage transfers with the car, and what exclusions or service conditions apply. The stated five-year or 100,000-mile period is a coverage term, not a maintenance-cost estimate. It does not show how frequently a car will need service, how much uncovered work might cost, or whether a specific repair qualifies.
Ask Gunther Werks or the relevant authorized dealer who can perform the needed inspection, whether a particular repair must be handled by an authorized facility, and how to obtain a coverage decision. Confirm the answer for the exact task: a directory listing is not proof that a dealer handles every modification or repair.
An independent 993 specialist in West London says it services and repairs 993s, uses Genuine Porsche parts and Mobil 1 oils and lubricants, and advises owners to follow the Owner Manual and Service/Maintenance Manual. This is one possible specialist-service route for a 993, not evidence that the shop is suitable for every Gunther Werks configuration. Ask any independent specialist directly about experience with the car’s modifications and how service choices interact with the applicable warranty.

A 993 maintenance checklist PDF also exists, but its factory provenance, edition and applicability to Gunther Werks changes have not been established. A Porsche 993 maintenance manual or schedule may help an owner organize questions about intervals; it should not replace the car’s own service records, build-specific guidance or confirmation from a suitable shop.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What the available figures do—and do not—establish
- They establish: local scheduled-service prices for standard 993 descriptions in Rotterdam and Frankfurt, with stated tax and additional-work caveats; the existence of a 993 maintenance checklist; and published Gunther Werks support and warranty statements.
- They do not establish: a Gunther Werks annual maintenance average, build-specific scheduled-service prices, local labor rates beyond the listed offers, repair history for an individual car, typical repair frequency, or the warranty terms that apply to a particular VIN.
For a buyer, the practical next step is to make a written estimate contingent on the car’s records and an inspection, then keep routine service and possible repairs as separate budget lines. For an owner, ask for a quote tied to the upcoming work and confirm warranty eligibility before deciding where to have it done. The Rotterdam and Frankfurt prices can help frame questions; they cannot answer what a particular Gunther Werks car will cost over a year.
When comparing a car for purchase, do not treat an advertised warranty or a standard 993 service price as a substitute for reviewing that vehicle’s documentation. Ask for the service history, have the prospective shop identify what is due now, and request any warranty determination in writing. That gives the buyer a car-specific picture of known work without presenting an unsupported annual total as a fact.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a published annual maintenance cost for a Gunther Werks Porsche 993?
No defensible annual figure is published in the cited sources. They provide local scheduled-service examples for standard 993s, not a representative yearly cost for Gunther Werks builds.

What do the published Porsche 993 service examples cost?
Porsche Centrum Rotterdam lists manual 993 Classic services at €1,419, €2,189 and €2,349 for 20,000, 40,000 and 80,000 km, respectively; its Tiptronic examples are €1,459, €2,469 and €2,549. Porsche Zentrum Frankfurt lists 993 Carrera maintenance from €1,255. These are local prices with different descriptions, and additional work is excluded.
Can I use an ordinary Porsche 993 maintenance schedule for a Gunther Werks car?
Use it as a reference, not as the complete service plan. Gunther Werks describes its cars as remastered 993-based builds, and a general checklist’s provenance and applicability to those changes are not established. Confirm guidance for the exact build with Gunther Werks or a qualified shop.
Does the five-year or 100,000-mile Gunther Werks warranty cover maintenance or repairs?
The company presents coverage as five years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first, but that statement alone does not determine whether a specific car or repair is eligible. Check the written warranty and vehicle records for start date, exclusions, mileage and transfer terms, and ask for a coverage decision before authorizing work.

The Bottom Line
There is no reliable published annual maintenance figure for a Gunther Werks Porsche 993. Dutch and German Porsche-center prices offer limited scheduled-service reference points for standard 993s, not a bespoke-car quote or all-in budget. Get an itemized estimate for the exact build, mileage, location and service history, and verify warranty terms for that vehicle.
