The road-legal xXx Pro L1E is limited to 45 km/h (28 mph), while older 25-Ah versions can be limited to approximately 32 mph (50 km/h).
Power figures vary in the same way. The current off-road xXx Pro MX is listed at 2.5 kW nominal power and 6 kW peak power. That peak figure is what helps the bike accelerate; it is not the continuous output available at maximum speed.

For the commonly discussed 40-Ah off-road bike, the practical headline is therefore roughly 47 mph stock. The exact specification should be checked against the model plate, battery size, and the seller’s market-specific documentation.

How much power does the Talaria XXX make?
The current manufacturer specification gives the xXx Pro MX 2.5 kW of nominal power and 6 kW of peak power. In horsepower terms, 6 kW is approximately 8 hp.
Those two numbers describe different things:
- Nominal or rated power: a sustained rating used to describe the motor and electrical system under defined conditions.
- Peak power: the short-duration maximum available for acceleration, hill climbing, or overcoming resistance.
A 6-kW peak rating does not mean the bike continuously produces 6 kW while cruising. As speed rises, aerodynamic drag increases sharply, and the motor eventually reaches the point where it cannot continue accelerating. Battery state of charge, controller limits, rider weight, wind, road surface, and gearing all affect where that point occurs.
The often-repeated 6.5-kW claim appears in older dealer material and reviews. The current manufacturer listing for the xXx Pro MX specifies 6 kW peak, so that is the better figure to use unless discussing a particular older specification sheet.

What speed can you expect in real use?
Independent tests have reported approximately 49 mph in Sport mode, while another test recorded a 54-mph speedometer reading. These results do not replace the official 75-km/h specification. They may reflect different versions, conditions, gearing, battery charge, or an optimistic speedometer.
The most reliable way to check a Talaria XXX’s actual speed is with a GPS device or a phone app on a straight, level, safe section of private land. The factory display can overread when its programmed gearing or wheel-size setting does not match the bike’s actual sprocket and tire setup. A displayed 54 mph is not automatically 54 mph over the ground.
Do not expect the bike to reach its quoted maximum in every situation. Top speed will usually drop when:

- DECAL-READY BLACK SURFACE: Use this downhill number plate clean or add your own race number, decals or custom graphics. The smooth glossy face creates an easy base for a personalized bike plate; decals are not included.
- 4-STEP ZIP-TIE INSTALL: Align the plate, thread the four included zip ties, tighten each tie and trim the ends—no drilling required. Measure the available mounting area on your bike before ordering.
- the battery is partly discharged;
- the rider is heavier or sitting upright into a strong wind;
- the route is uphill or the surface is soft;
- the tires are underinflated or substantially larger than stock;
- the controller is limiting current because of temperature;
- the bike uses a smaller-capacity or restricted battery configuration.
Why the L1E is much slower
The L1E is not simply an MX bike with a different speedometer setting. It is the road-legal, homologated version, and its listed maximum is 45 km/h (28 mph). Its certified peak-power figure is also lower at 3.2 kW.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesThat distinction explains why claims that “every Talaria XXX is limited to 20 mph” are misleading. The limit depends on the exact model and market. Likewise, an off-road xXx Pro MX specification should not be used to describe an L1E, and an L1E’s road-legal rating should not be treated as the performance limit of the MX version.
Talaria XXX versus Talaria Sting R
The XXX is sometimes confused with the larger Talaria Sting R/MX4. They are different models. The manufacturer lists the Sting R/MX4 at approximately 85 km/h (53 mph) and 8 kW peak power. Those figures should not be attached to the XXX.

In simple terms, the XXX is the smaller and lighter performance electric motorcycle, with the 40-Ah off-road version rated around 47 mph. The Sting R has the higher published output and speed rating.
How to identify which XXX you have
- Check the model designation. Look for xXx Pro MX, xXx Pro L1E, or an older XXX/X3 designation.
- Confirm battery capacity. A 60-volt, 40-Ah pack is associated with the higher-output configuration; a 25-Ah pack may indicate the lower-speed version.
- Read the compliance or specification label. A road-legal L1E will have different certification details from an off-road MX model.
- Verify speed with GPS. Use the display as an indication, not as proof of actual speed.
That check is worthwhile before comparing listings or buying replacement parts. Two bikes advertised as “Talaria XXX” can have materially different speed and power figures.

FAQ
How fast does a Talaria XXX go in mph?
The 40-Ah off-road Talaria XXX/xXx Pro MX is manufacturer-rated at approximately 47 mph (75 km/h). The L1E road-legal version is limited to 28 mph (45 km/h), and some older 25-Ah versions are listed at about 32 mph (50 km/h).

How much horsepower does a Talaria XXX have?
The current xXx Pro MX specification lists 6 kW of peak power, which is approximately 8 hp. Its nominal rating is 2.5 kW. Peak horsepower is a short-duration output figure, not a continuous cruising rating.
Can a stock Talaria XXX reach 54 mph?
Some independent tests have recorded readings near 54 mph, but that is not the universal factory specification and may be a speedometer reading rather than GPS-verified speed. Talaria’s current off-road rating is about 47 mph.
Is the Talaria XXX street legal?
The answer depends on the exact model and jurisdiction. The xXx Pro L1E is the road-legal, 45-km/h version in markets where it is homologated. An off-road xXx Pro MX is not automatically street legal simply because it has lights or can be registered in some locations.
The Bottom Line
For the 40-Ah off-road Talaria XXX/X3, use about 47 mph (75 km/h) and 6 kW (8 hp) peak power as the manufacturer-based answer. The road-legal L1E is a different configuration at 28 mph (45 km/h) and 3.2 kW peak. Faster 49–54 mph test or display readings exist, but they depend on conditions and should be verified with GPS rather than treated as a guaranteed stock top speed.
