But the available sources do not verify that she is worth $80 million: they disclose no reliable net-worth calculation, earnings total, or business valuations.
What supports the fortune story?
Patrick’s financial profile is best understood through documented career milestones and commercial ventures—not as a confirmed balance-sheet figure. Her achievements made her a highly visible figure in motorsport, while her work beyond racing gave her several entrepreneurial and media platforms. The sources establish those pathways, but not how much money any one of them generated.
How racing built her public profile
Patrick began racing in karting and competed in Europe as a teenager, according to her official biography. She made her Indianapolis 500 debut in 2005, led 19 laps, and finished fourth. In 2008, she won the Indy Japan 300, becoming the first woman to win a major-league open-wheel race in a North American series, according to her IndyCar profile.
In 2013, Patrick became the first woman to win a NASCAR Cup Series pole, at the Daytona 500, and finished eighth. Her official biography also describes her seven Cup Series top-10 finishes as a women’s record. Her final appearances came at the 2018 Daytona 500 and Indianapolis 500. These results and milestones help explain her prominence; neither her biography nor the racing profile states her racing income.

How GoDaddy sponsorship amplified her visibility
GoDaddy announced that it signed Patrick in 2006 and sponsored her move to NASCAR in 2010. Patrick’s biography says she appeared in 14 Super Bowl commercials, 13 of them for GoDaddy. The company’s 2018 announcement likewise counted 13 GoDaddy Super Bowl commercials at that time.
Fortune reported in 2018 that GoDaddy had pulled its support in 2015. The company later reunited with Patrick for her final two marquee races, saying it would also support the web presence of her health, apparel, and wine ventures. Taken together, these accounts show a long-running commercial relationship and promotional platform. They do not disclose her compensation, and a sponsorship’s value to a brand should not be mistaken for the amount paid to the sponsored athlete.

Somnium wine and other ventures
Patrick’s biography identifies her as the sole proprietor of Somnium, a Napa Valley vineyard. Her current official site also promotes Somnium Wine and Voyant candles. These are documented ventures, not disclosed financial results: the sources do not state revenue, profit, assets, or business valuations.
Is Danica Patrick worth $80 million?
The $80 million figure is not verified by the sources cited here. None provides an audited net-worth calculation, a valuation date, total career earnings, sponsorship compensation, business income, or the value of Patrick’s assets and ownership stakes. Without those details, the figure should be treated as an unverified estimate rather than an established fact.
Rank #3
It is also important to distinguish wealth from income. A career earnings total would not, by itself, establish net worth: taxes, expenses, investments, liabilities, and the value of private business interests all affect a person’s financial position. No comparable, substantiated alternative estimate is available in these sources, so a numerical range would be equally unsupported.

- Established: Patrick’s racing milestones, a high-profile GoDaddy sponsorship, and named ventures in books, apparel, wine, candles, and podcasting.
- Not established: Her total racing earnings, sponsor payments, venture revenues or profits, asset values, and net worth.
Fortune’s 2018 interview offers context on her transition away from racing. Patrick said, “New is exciting, but it’s the leaving things behind that’s the fear-based part,” and, “I came to realize maybe racing wasn’t my true passion anymore.” Those remarks help explain the career shift, but they do not provide financial figures.
