Honda’s Japan-market PRELUDE 2027 Limited Edition adds exclusive paint, Bordeaux-and-black cabin details, red brake calipers and 19-inch wheels to the new hybrid coupe. Orders opened in Japan on June 18, 2026, and sales are scheduled to begin August 20. Honda lists a suggested retail price of ¥6,306,300, including consumption tax, but has not announced a production limit.
What’s different about the 2027 Prelude Limited Edition?
The Limited Edition is a Japan-market equipment and appearance variant of Honda’s four-seat, front-wheel-drive Prelude. Its distinguishing features are:
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
- Exterior: Premium Crystal Garnet Metallic paint, body-color front upper grille molding, and red front and rear accents.
- Brakes and wheels: Red Brembo front aluminum four-piston calipers with PRELUDE lettering, red rear calipers, and 19-inch noise-reducing aluminum wheels in a machined black-clear finish.
- Cabin: Bordeaux-and-black combination front seats, red stitching on the steering wheel, and Bordeaux detailing on the console and armrest. The passenger-side middle lining uses Bordeaux upholstery with a cloud pattern, two-tone stitching and PRELUDE embroidery.
Honda’s announcement describes the special edition’s equipment but does not state how many cars will be made. “Exclusive” therefore identifies its dedicated features; it is not evidence of a capped production run.
