The useful comparison is not which one is “better,” but which category, configuration and ownership setup fits your trips. The figures below use Honda’s India launch information and Triumph’s UK specifications, so they are not a same-market price or performance comparison.
What are the Honda QC3 and Triumph Tiger 900?
The QC3 is an automatic electric scooter from Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India. Honda’s launch material gives it a 3 kWh battery, a certified IDC range of 145 km and 32 litres of storage. Those features position it for scooter-style commuting and carrying everyday items; the range figure is a certification claim, not a guarantee of distance in ordinary use.
The Tiger 900 is an adventure motorcycle range, not one fixed specification. Triumph’s UK range includes the GT, GT Pro and Rally Pro. The GT versions have a more road-oriented front-wheel setup, while the Rally Pro’s larger front wheel and taller seat are aimed at a more off-road-oriented configuration. The choice of trim matters when comparing fit, weight or intended use.
How do their specifications differ?
This table deliberately identifies the market and source context: QC3 figures are from Honda’s India launch material; Tiger figures are from Triumph’s UK specification page. They describe different vehicle classes and should not be read as a direct performance test.

- IMPACT RESISTANCE PROTECTIVE: The riding gloves are designed with microfiber material reinforcement. With the excellent cushioning effect, the skateboard gloves can effectively resist the impact of sharp objects, and protect your hands from scratches and abrasions during tactical or motorcycle cycling
- THREE-FINGER TOUCHSCREEN: The fingertips of the thumb, index finger, and middle finger are made of touchscreen material, so you can use touchscreen devices without taking off your safety work gloves for men, which is very easy and convenient
- TOUGH & ANTI-SLIP: The dirt bike gloves are built with double-stitch seams for durability and longevity under any condition. The palm padding of the gloves is made of reinforced double-layer synthetic leather with anti-slip mesh, which can enhance grasp and palm protection
- BREATHABLE & DRY DESIGN: The utility gloves have 5 inclined rubber ventilation holes at the finger joints that can quickly dissipate heat, keep your hands cool all the time, and are widely suitable as motocross gloves, paintball gloves, mountain bike gloves, hunting gloves, driving gloves, hiking gloves, security gloves, and atv gloves
- SIZE CHART: Choose the working gloves that fit your palm according to the size chart. These gloves are designed for comfort and dexterity during yard work, gardening, or outdoor tasks.

Triumph lists a 6,000-mile / 10,000-km or 12-month service interval, whichever comes first, on its UK specification page. Confirm the applicable schedule for the country and model year where you would buy the motorcycle.
Which is more suitable for your kind of riding?
Choose the QC3 if your use is local and scooter-shaped
The QC3 is the more relevant option for short urban trips if you want an automatic scooter and have a practical way to charge it. Its 32-litre storage is a stated carrying-space figure, but the launch material does not establish how much luggage it can carry beyond that storage measurement. The certified 145 km IDC range can help frame the official claim, but it cannot by itself determine whether the scooter will cover your daily route between charges.

Consider the Tiger 900 for motorcycle touring and varied roads
The Tiger’s larger motorcycle format, 20-litre fuel tank and adventure-bike configurations make it the more relevant category for longer rides and touring. The UK specifications distinguish a lower-seat, 19-inch-front-wheel GT/GT Pro setup from the taller Rally Pro with its 21-inch front wheel. Those specifications identify configuration differences; they do not establish comparative ride quality or off-road capability in a test.
What should you check before choosing?
- Market availability: Honda’s September 22, 2026 launch information names Delhi, Agra, Cuttack, Surat and Kollam as the QC3’s initial rollout cities through select Honda RedWing dealerships. Autocar India reported phased expansion was planned. Confirm current local stock and service support rather than assuming nationwide availability.
- Charging versus refuelling: Autocar India reported an approximately four-hour full charge for the QC3. That is the reported charge time, not a measure of actual trip range. For either vehicle, check the infrastructure available on your regular routes; charging access matters for the scooter, while the Tiger’s listed tank capacity alone does not establish range between fuel stops.
- Rider fit: The Tiger trim changes seat height substantially, especially between the GT models and Rally Pro. Sit on the specific version and assess whether you can manage its height and wet weight at stops. QC3 seat-height information is not stated in the cited launch material.
- Dealer and service access: Verify a local Honda dealer that sells and services the QC3, and a Triumph dealer able to support the exact Tiger variant. A product’s national brand presence does not guarantee convenient local support.
- Purchase and ownership cost: Honda’s launch price is India-specific, while the Tiger specifications cited here are for the UK. No fair same-market purchase-price or total-cost comparison is established, so compare local on-road quotations, insurance, maintenance and energy or fuel costs for the exact models before deciding.
What does the launch price tell you?
Autocar India reported the QC3’s launch price as ₹1.35 lakh ex-showroom Delhi on September 22, 2026. Honda’s reproduced launch announcement states ₹1,35,000 ex-showroom New Delhi. This is a dated India launch price, not an on-road quote or a current price for every city. No comparable Tiger 900 price for the same market is established here, so the figures do not support a direct affordability verdict.
