Is the Honda NT1100 coming to the U.S.?
It already has. American Honda confirmed the NT1100 DCT for the U.S. on March 11, 2025, as a 2025 model-year sport-tourer. Honda described the motorcycle as already popular in Europe. The company’s 2025 features release says the NT1100 first appeared in Europe for model year 2022, so its U.S. debut was an expansion into a new market, not the launch of an entirely new design.
Honda framed the U.S. arrival as a response to customer interest. Colin Miller, American Honda’s Manager of Experiential Marketing, said: “We know American customers have been eager to see these exciting new models in the U.S., and we’re pleased to finally be able to confirm their availability here,” Honda’s March 11, 2025 announcement.
How much does the Honda NT1100 cost?
Honda’s U.S. listings show different prices by model year. The 2025 page lists a $11,899 base MSRP and a separate $775 destination charge; the 2026 page lists a $11,999 base MSRP and the same $775 destination charge. Honda displays the 2026 total MSRP as $12,774. These figures are manufacturer-listed prices, not an out-the-door quote; dealer charges, taxes, and availability affect what a buyer pays.

What are the Honda NT1100 specs?
The detailed figures below are Honda’s published specifications for the 2025 U.S. model. California versions may differ slightly because of emissions equipment. They describe the motorcycle on paper; seat height and weight alone cannot determine whether it will feel manageable to a particular rider.

What touring features does the NT1100 offer?
Honda’s current 2026 listing describes a 5.4-gallon tank, cruise control, five ride modes, and the DCT. Honda’s 2025 features release specifies a windscreen with five stages of height and angle adjustment across 6.5 inches. These are manufacturer-published features, not independent test findings.

For carrying capacity, Honda’s 2026 page describes optional detachable saddlebags and a set of 12 accessories, including luggage. Check the accessory’s model-year fitment and availability with a Honda dealer; compatibility should not be assumed across years.

Honda’s U.S. launch establishes the NT1100’s arrival and positioning, but it does not establish that Yamaha or BMW is concerned. The available manufacturer information here also is not enough for a fair, current numerical comparison with either brand. A useful comparison needs U.S. models from the same model year and verified information on price, transmission, engine, touring equipment, luggage, weight, seat fit, and comfort or safety features.

For now, the grounded takeaway is that the NT1100 gives U.S. buyers another DCT-equipped sport-tourer to consider, with Honda-published touring features and optional luggage. Whether it is a better fit or value than a specific Yamaha or BMW depends on the exact competing models and a buyer’s priorities; the launch alone cannot answer that.
