The Honda Elevate facelift, announced in India on 6 October 2026, updates the SUV’s styling, cabin comfort and parking aids while retaining its 1.5-litre petrol engine and six-speed manual or CVT. Delhi ex-showroom prices run from ₹11.80 lakh to ₹18.40 lakh. The biggest practical additions include ventilated front and rear seats, power adjustment for both front seats, a 360-degree camera and Low Speed Follow on CVT variants.
What exactly is new on the Elevate facelift?
Honda’s update is an equipment and styling refresh, not a new-generation Elevate. The basic proportions and familiar overall shape remain, but the front and rear details have been revised and the cabin gains several comfort features. Honda’s 6 October 2026 announcement lists the new equipment; Autocar India’s old-versus-new comparison notes that the headlamps, profile and much of the alloy-wheel design remain familiar.

That distinction matters when comparing the updated model with the outgoing one: the facelift does not change the Elevate’s basic package, dimensions or engine. Instead, it adds comfort and convenience equipment, revises selected exterior details and introduces a new top-end trim structure. Buyers looking for a completely different body shape or a new powertrain will not find one in this update.
Exterior details
- A new mesh grille and gloss-black trim revise the front-end appearance.
- The LED position-light signature has been revised; the headlamps and overall form are not described as an all-new design.
- A connected full-width rear lamp changes the look at the back.
- Honda lists dark-finished 17-inch alloy wheels and a new Nordic Forest Pearl paint colour.
These changes make the facelift recognisable without changing the Elevate’s basic silhouette. The comparison is best understood as refreshed detailing rather than a wholesale body redesign. The Nordic Forest Pearl shade is the new colour called out in the launch material; Honda also notes that pearl and dual-tone paint choices can cost extra.

More seat comfort and cabin equipment
The facelift adds premium leather upholstery and a dual-tone ivory-and-black cabin treatment. Honda also lists ambient lighting and electrostatic-touch cabin lighting. Both rows get ventilated seats, and both front seats are power-adjustable: the driver’s seat has eight-way adjustment and the passenger’s seat four-way adjustment.
Those are meaningful changes to the comfort specification, especially because ventilation is listed for both front and rear seats rather than only for the driver. The passenger power seat is also a specific addition worth checking when comparing variants. Honda’s announcement gives the feature list, but does not establish that every item is standard across the full range; confirm the exact fitment on the trim you are considering.
Parking aids, charging and air-quality display
A 360-degree surround-view camera joins front and rear parking sensors. The cabin also gets USB-C ports at the front and rear, plus a PM2.5 air-quality index indicator. These are tangible convenience additions, particularly for parking and keeping devices charged, though equipment availability should be checked against the specific trim.
Recommended Free Tools
Autocar’s launch report additionally notes rear disc brakes. On CVT trims, it reports an electronic parking brake with auto-hold. These details complement the new parking equipment, but the CVT qualification matters: shoppers should not assume that the electronic parking brake and auto-hold apply to manual versions. As with the other features, verify the equipment list for the precise variant rather than relying on the model-wide headline feature list.
Honda SENSING and CVT-only Low Speed Follow
Honda SENSING continues, with Low Speed Follow added for CVT variants. Honda’s listed suite includes Collision Mitigation Braking System, Adaptive Cruise Control, Road Departure Mitigation, Lane Keeping Assist, Lead Car Departure Notification and Auto High-Beam. Do not assume Low Speed Follow is available with the manual gearbox: Honda specifies it for CVT versions.
In other words, the facelift adds a particular low-speed assistance function to the automatic choice; it does not replace the wider SENSING suite or extend that feature to every transmission. The launch material names the systems, but does not provide comparative performance testing. Treat the list as a specification summary, and confirm the relevant variant’s equipment when buying.

Noise insulation: a claim awaiting road-test confirmation
Honda says the revised Elevate is quieter and more comfortable. Autocar reports added sound-deadening material, but says it could confirm the effect only after testing. The available reporting therefore supports describing quieter operation as Honda’s claim, not as an independently confirmed improvement.

No independent comparative road test establishing the result was available in the launch coverage reviewed here.
What stayed the same?
Engine and gearbox choices
The facelift retains the 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine, paired with either a six-speed manual transmission or a CVT. Honda quotes 89 kW (121 PS) at 6,600 rpm and 145 Nm at 4,300 rpm. The facelift announcement does not add a hybrid powertrain; Autocar notes that the Elevate does not receive the City’s strong-hybrid system.
So the choice remains between a conventional petrol manual and a conventional petrol CVT. If a hybrid is essential to your shortlist, this facelift does not answer that requirement. The engine output and torque figures are Honda’s stated specifications; the facelift news is primarily about equipment, not revised mechanical performance.
Certified fuel-efficiency figures
Honda lists CMVR-certified fuel efficiency of 15.31 km/l for the manual and 16.61 km/l for the CVT. These are certified figures, not a guarantee of the mileage an owner will achieve in everyday driving. No independent comparative fuel-economy test is established in the cited reports.

The figures are useful for comparing the two transmission choices on the same certification basis, but they should not be treated as a promise of real-world economy. Driving conditions and usage can affect actual mileage, and the reviewed launch coverage does not provide an independent test result for the updated car.

Dimensions and familiar shape
Honda gives the updated Elevate’s dimensions as 4,312 mm long, 1,790 mm wide and 1,650 mm high, with a 2,650 mm wheelbase and 220 mm ground clearance. The stated dimensions are unchanged. In other words, the styling details have moved on, but the vehicle’s core footprint and proportions have not.
The unchanged measurements reinforce why this is a facelift rather than a new-generation model. There is no reported change to length, width, height, wheelbase or ground clearance in Honda’s specification. The refreshed lamps and grille therefore do not signal a change to the SUV’s basic dimensions.
Technology and safety carryovers
Autocar identifies the 10.25-inch infotainment screen, semi-digital instrument cluster, single-pane sunroof, LaneWatch camera, six airbags, wireless charger and wireless phone connectivity as carryovers. The facelift adds equipment around this existing cabin-technology package rather than replacing its main screen or core layout.
That makes the cabin a mix of retained technology and new comfort features, rather than a complete dashboard or infotainment redesign. Buyers who already know the Elevate’s screen and connectivity package should expect those core items to remain, alongside the newly listed seat, lighting, charging-port and air-quality additions.
New vs old: the practical differences
For a useful old-versus-new comparison, separate the facelift’s visible changes from its equipment changes. The grille, lighting and paint update the presentation; the ventilated seats, power-adjustable front seats, 360-degree camera and additional convenience equipment affect the specification. The engine, transmission choices and core dimensions remain unchanged.

According to Autocar India’s launch comparison, the entry price matches the outgoing model, while listed like-for-like increases reach ₹53,000. The new ZX+ trims extend the range above the outgoing model’s stated top price; Autocar reports a difference of up to ₹1.94 lakh between that prior top price and the facelift’s new range-top price. These comparisons use the prices reported at launch, and a local dealer should confirm current pricing, charges and availability before a purchase.

The price range is not an on-road quote. It is based on Delhi ex-showroom pricing, so registration, insurance and other local costs are not included. The official list also does not show a CVT price for the SV trim. If you are comparing a particular old and new version, use like-for-like trims and transmission types: the ₹53,000 figure is the highest listed like-for-like increase, while the larger ₹1.94 lakh difference compares the prior model’s stated top price with the new range-top price, not equivalent equipment.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Which version should you consider?
The facelift’s value depends on whether its new equipment matters to you. Focus on the specific features and transmission you would use rather than treating the updated exterior as a change to the underlying powertrain.
- Choose a manual if: you want the six-speed manual. Low Speed Follow is not specified for manual variants.
- Consider a CVT if: you want the automatic transmission and the CVT-specific Low Speed Follow feature.
- Compare trims carefully if: ventilated seats, powered passenger-seat adjustment, the 360-degree camera or other new convenience items are priorities. The announcement lists the features, but the exact trim fitment should be confirmed in Honda’s current variant specification and dealer quote.
- Budget for the on-road price: the announced figures are Delhi ex-showroom prices, and colour charges may apply. Registration, insurance and other local costs are not included in those figures.
It is also worth separating equipment you can confirm on a price list from improvements that still need a test. The comfort and parking features are specified items, while the quieter-cabin benefit remains a manufacturer claim pending independent road-test evidence. If noise insulation is a deciding factor, wait for an independent comparison rather than assuming the claimed change has been proven.
What the facelift means in brief
The updated Elevate is most consequential for buyers who value added seat comfort, easier parking and the CVT’s additional low-speed assistance. It retains the same petrol engine, gearbox choices, dimensions and much of the cabin technology. Styling is revised rather than reinvented, and the quieter-cabin claim still needs independent road-test confirmation.

Frequently Asked Questions
What has changed and what hasn’t on the Honda Elevate facelift?
The facelift adds revised exterior details, a new Nordic Forest Pearl colour, ventilated front and rear seats, power adjustment for both front seats, a 360-degree camera, front and rear parking sensors, USB-C ports and other convenience equipment. The 1.5-litre petrol engine, six-speed manual and CVT choices, core dimensions and several cabin-technology features carry over.
Does the 2026 Honda Elevate facelift get a hybrid engine?
No hybrid powertrain is listed for the facelift. It retains the 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine with a six-speed manual or CVT. Autocar notes that the Elevate does not get the City’s strong-hybrid system.
Is Low Speed Follow available on the manual Elevate?
Honda specifies Low Speed Follow for CVT variants. It should not be assumed to be available with the six-speed manual.
What are the updated Honda Elevate’s fuel-efficiency figures?
Honda lists CMVR-certified figures of 15.31 km/l for the manual and 16.61 km/l for the CVT. These are certified figures, not a guarantee of real-world mileage, and the reviewed reports do not establish an independent comparative fuel-economy test.
How much does the Honda Elevate facelift cost in India?
Honda’s announced Delhi ex-showroom prices start at ₹11.80 lakh for the SV manual and go up to ₹18.40 lakh for the ZX+ Black CVT. Pearl and dual-tone colours attract additional charges, and a dealer should confirm current prices, availability and local on-road costs.
Is the facelift definitely quieter than the outgoing Elevate?
Honda says the updated car is quieter, and Autocar reports added sound-deadening material. However, Autocar said the effect could only be confirmed after testing, so the available launch evidence does not independently prove the improvement.
The Bottom Line
The Honda Elevate facelift refreshes design and adds substantial comfort and parking equipment, but keeps the familiar petrol engine, manual/CVT lineup and core dimensions. Its Delhi ex-showroom range is ₹11.80 lakh–₹18.40 lakh; check trim fitment and local charges, and treat the quieter-cabin benefit as unverified until road-tested.
