For most buyers, the Honda Elevate ZX is the best-balanced choice. It brings the 10.25-inch touchscreen, ventilated front seats, leatherette upholstery and Honda SENSING driver-assistance features. Choose ZX+ if powered front seats, ventilated rear seats and a 360-degree camera are worth the extra cost to you. The refreshed Elevate launched in India on October 6, 2026; prices below are ex-showroom, not on-road.

This guide compares the five core trims, their manual and CVT prices, and the equipment that changes as you move up the range. Use the tables to shortlist a trim, then get a current city-specific quote and check the exact car’s equipment with a Honda dealer before booking.

Which Honda Elevate variant should you buy?

Start with the feature you will use most, then compare the ex-showroom difference with your city’s on-road quote. The five core trims are SV, V, VX, ZX and ZX+. A separate launch report lists a ZX+ Black Edition; it is not included in the five-trim price range below.

Variant Best suited to Why it may fit
SV Buyers focused on the entry price who are comfortable with a manual Core safety and comfort essentials; manual only
V Buyers who want basic modern infotainment and a reversing camera 8-inch touchscreen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Honda Connect and rear-view camera
VX Buyers seeking convenience and exterior upgrades without moving to ZX Sunroof, alloy wheels, wireless charging, LaneWatch and other additions
ZX Most buyers seeking a strong feature-to-price balance Large touchscreen, front-seat ventilation, leatherette upholstery and Honda SENSING
ZX+ Buyers prioritising top-trim comfort and parking visibility Powered front seats, ventilated rear seats, 360-degree camera and front sensors

Autocar India’s current variant guide identifies ZX as the value-balanced pick. That is a useful starting point, not a substitute for deciding whether you will actually use the upper trim’s extra comfort and parking equipment. The right answer depends on where your priorities sit: entry price and a manual, a reversing camera and connected infotainment, middle-trim convenience, or the extra comfort and visibility of the top grades.

If you are asking, “Which Honda Elevate variant should I buy?”, the short answer is ZX for a broad mix of equipment and price. Pick V if a touchscreen and rear camera are the upgrades you need and you want to spend less. VX is a reasonable stopping point if its sunroof, alloys, wireless charging and LaneWatch matter more than the ZX additions. ZX+ is the more targeted choice for buyers who value powered front seats, rear-seat ventilation and surround-view parking assistance.

Before deciding, separate features you want from features you would merely like to have. A sunroof, a larger touchscreen, front-seat ventilation and parking cameras serve different needs; paying for one does not automatically make another worthwhile. Also compare trims with the same transmission: the CVT adds to the price, and SV is not available with one.

Prices: core trims and ZX+ Black

Autocar India lists these ex-showroom India prices for the five core trims. CVT is not offered with SV; for the other four, it is an option.

Variant 6-speed manual CVT
SV ₹11.80 lakh Not offered
V ₹12.29 lakh ₹13.79 lakh
VX ₹13.93 lakh ₹15.39 lakh
ZX ₹15.39 lakh ₹16.89 lakh
ZX+ ₹16.80 lakh ₹18.30 lakh

The launch report separately lists ZX+ Black at ₹16.90 lakh with manual and ₹18.40 lakh with CVT. Accordingly, the core-trim range is ₹11.80 lakh–₹18.30 lakh; including ZX+ Black, the reported range extends to ₹18.40 lakh. These are ex-showroom figures, not a complete purchase cost. Ask a Honda dealer for a current written quote for your city, including registration, insurance, options and any colour surcharge, and confirm current stock and terms before booking. Autocar India’s variant guide and its launch report provide the listed breakdowns.

The price gaps can help you see where an upgrade asks for a larger commitment. Among the manual core trims, V is ₹49,000 above SV; VX is ₹1.64 lakh above V; ZX is ₹1.46 lakh above VX; and ZX+ is ₹1.41 lakh above ZX. For CVT models, each step from V to VX, VX to ZX, and ZX to ZX+ is ₹1.60 lakh, ₹1.50 lakh and ₹1.41 lakh respectively. These are arithmetic differences between the listed ex-showroom prices, not on-road upgrade costs.

Within each eligible trim, the listed CVT premium over the manual is ₹1.50 lakh for V, ₹1.46 lakh for VX, and ₹1.50 lakh for both ZX and ZX+. Compare that premium with the convenience of an automatic for your regular driving, and remember that a CVT version can have equipment not listed for the manual, including some features noted in the variant descriptions below. Get the dealer to confirm the exact variant and equipment in the quote rather than assuming that all transmission versions are identical.

Do not combine the ZX+ Black price with the five-core-trim range without saying so. A comparison that stops at ₹18.30 lakh describes the core ZX+ CVT; a range that reaches ₹18.40 lakh includes the separately reported Black Edition. These reported figures may change, so recheck them when requesting an offer.

What each variant adds

SV: essential equipment, manual only

SV is the entry trim and comes only with the six-speed manual. Reported equipment includes LED projector headlamps, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, a PM2.5 filter, a 7-inch MID, six airbags, stability and traction control, hill-start assist, rear parking sensors and ISOFIX child-seat anchors. It is the one to consider if keeping the price down matters more than having an automatic or a touchscreen-and-camera upgrade.

There is an important trade-off here: choosing SV means accepting a manual gearbox, not just giving up the higher trims’ convenience equipment. If a CVT is a requirement, start your comparison at V. On the other hand, the listed SV equipment is not bare-bones: it includes several comfort and safety items, such as automatic climate control, rear AC vents, six airbags and rear parking sensors. Consider it on the basis of your transmission needs and the equipment you actually require, rather than assuming the entry grade lacks all useful features.

V: touchscreen and rear camera

V adds an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Honda Connect, a rear-view camera, rear defogger and three USB ports. Its CVT version adds paddle shifters, remote engine start, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, and all-wheel disc brakes, according to the variant guide. V is a practical step up from SV if infotainment and a reversing camera are priorities.

For buyers who mainly want a modern phone connection and help seeing behind the car, V is the lower-cost route to those listed upgrades. The distinction between V manual and V CVT matters: the guide attributes the extra paddle shifters, remote engine start, electronic parking brake with auto hold and all-wheel disc brakes to the CVT version. Check the equipment list for the exact car you are considering, especially if you are comparing a manual V with a CVT V.

VX: convenience equipment and exterior upgrades

VX adds 17-inch alloy wheels, roof rails, signature LED light bars, LED fog lamps, a sunroof, orange ambient lighting, wireless phone charging, LaneWatch, auto headlamps and a rear wiper/washer. It occupies the middle ground for buyers who value those features but do not need the ZX’s larger screen, front-seat ventilation and driver-assistance suite.

VX is the trim to weigh carefully if your shortlist is between it and ZX. The step up buys a different set of benefits: ZX brings a 10.25-inch screen, front-seat ventilation, leatherette upholstery, eight-speaker audio and Honda SENSING functions. If those items would make a daily difference, the extra price may be justified. If you are more interested in VX’s sunroof, alloy wheels, wireless charger or LaneWatch, and do not need the ZX additions, VX can be a sensible place to stop.

ZX: the balanced step up

ZX adds leatherette upholstery, ventilated front seats, a 10.25-inch touchscreen and eight-speaker audio. It also brings Honda SENSING functions listed by Autocar India: adaptive cruise control, collision-mitigation braking, lane-keep assist, road-departure mitigation and auto high beam. Low-Speed Follow is listed for CVT versions only. If those comfort and assistance features matter to you, ZX is the strongest general-purpose recommendation in the lineup.

That is why the answer to “Is the Elevate ZX worth the extra money?” is conditional rather than universal. Against VX, the manual ZX is ₹1.46 lakh higher ex-showroom, and the CVT ZX is ₹1.50 lakh higher. The value case is strongest if you will use the larger touchscreen, front-seat ventilation and the listed assistance features. If the features do not fit your priorities, the price difference may be better avoided by choosing VX. As with any driver-assistance equipment, check the vehicle documentation and dealer explanation for how the specific functions operate; the feature list describes equipment, not a substitute for attentive driving.

ZX+: comfort and parking aids at the top

ZX+ adds dual-tone exterior options, an eight-way powered driver’s seat, a four-way powered front passenger seat, ventilated rear seats, a 360-degree camera and front parking sensors. The case for paying more is strongest if you regularly carry rear passengers, want easier seat adjustment, or find a surround-view camera valuable when parking.

It can be operated by a single person and the covering and fixing can be completed in 2-3 minutes, saving time and effort and making it suitable for frequent daily use.

What is the difference between Elevate ZX and ZX+? The core distinction in the reported equipment list is that ZX+ adds powered adjustment for both front seats, ventilation for the rear seats, 360-degree Surround Vision and front parking sensors, along with dual-tone exterior options. Its ex-showroom premium over ZX is ₹1.41 lakh for either transmission in the listed core prices. If you do not need those additions, ZX already has the larger screen, front-seat ventilation and Honda SENSING features that make it the general recommendation.

The allocation above follows Autocar India’s detailed variant guide. Honda’s announcement confirms major new equipment for the refreshed model but does not supply the complete trim-by-trim matrix, so verify the exact specification of the car being quoted before booking.

Manual or CVT: how to choose

The facelift retains a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, reported by Autocar India at 121hp and 145Nm. It is paired with a six-speed manual or a CVT. SV is manual-only; V, VX, ZX and ZX+ offer both transmissions. Choose based on the driving experience and convenience you want rather than treating the claimed fuel-economy difference as a promise of what your car will achieve.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.
  • Choose the manual if you prefer to select gears yourself and want the lower-priced transmission option within a given eligible trim.
  • Choose the CVT if an automatic transmission better suits your regular driving. On V, the CVT also brings the listed paddle shifters, remote engine start, electronic parking brake with auto hold and all-wheel disc brakes. On ZX CVT, Low-Speed Follow is listed as an additional Honda SENSING function.
  • Compare like with like: decide on the trim first, then compare its manual and CVT prices and equipment. SV has no CVT counterpart.

For a buyer who has not settled on a transmission, it can help to make this decision before comparing the upper grades. First decide whether you want the manual or CVT for your normal use; then shortlist only the trims that offer it. If you need an automatic, SV drops out immediately. If you prefer a manual, the full five-grade core range remains available.

The published mileage figures do not make the choice for you. Honda and Autocar list a higher claimed number for the CVT than the manual, but the figures are not independent real-world test results and should not be treated as a guarantee that the automatic will use less fuel in your own driving. Choose the transmission for its operation and the associated equipment, then consider the claimed figures as manufacturer-published reference points.

Claimed mileage and dimensions

Honda’s product page and Autocar India list claimed fuel economy of 15.31 km/l for the manual and 16.61 km/l for the CVT. These are claimed figures, not independent real-world test results; actual consumption will depend on use and driving conditions. No diesel or strong-hybrid Elevate option is established in the current reporting. Honda’s product page lists the model’s specifications and claimed mileage.

Specification Published figure
Engine 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol
Power and torque 121hp and 145Nm, reported by Autocar India
Claimed mileage, manual 15.31 km/l
Claimed mileage, CVT 16.61 km/l
Length 4,312 mm
Width 1,790 mm
Height 1,650 mm
Ground clearance 220 mm
Wheelbase 2,650 mm

Honda Cars India publishes the dimensions on its Elevate product page. Treat figures as published specifications rather than a substitute for checking the actual vehicle and equipment in your preferred trim.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

The size figures give a useful reference when comparing published specifications, but no independent measurements or a post-launch road test of the refreshed model are available. If dimensions or ground clearance are important to your decision, confirm the current specification and inspect the actual vehicle rather than inferring how it will fit your particular parking space or route from the numbers alone.

What changed in the 2026 facelift?

Honda unveiled the refreshed Elevate in India on October 6, 2026. Its announcement describes a Bold Mesh Grille, tri-bar LED position-light signature, connected full-width rear LED lamp, gloss-black exterior elements and a new Nordic Forest Pearl colour among seven listed colour options. The cabin is described as ivory and black, and the announced changes include front and rear seat ventilation, USB-C ports at the front and rear, powered front seats, 360-degree Surround Vision, front and rear parking sensors, an electric parking brake with auto brake hold, and Honda SENSING with Low-Speed Follow. The announcement does not establish that every feature is standard on every grade; use the variant guide and confirm the specific trim’s equipment.

The refresh is therefore not simply a different grille or paint choice: Honda also describes comfort, convenience and assistance additions. Still, the official launch announcement and the detailed variant guide serve different purposes. Honda’s announcement describes the refreshed model and its headline equipment; Autocar India provides the price and grade-by-grade allocation used in this guide. Do not take a model-level announcement to mean that every listed feature comes on SV or every other trim.

With seven listed colour options and a new Nordic Forest Pearl shade, colour can also affect what is available at a particular dealership. No published information establishes a colour surcharge or availability by city, so ask the dealer whether the chosen shade is in stock and whether it changes the quoted price. The same applies to dual-tone exterior options, which are listed as a ZX+ addition.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Autocar India characterises the changes as primarily cosmetic and equipment-related, with the same engine and gearbox choices. Its launch report also says Honda claims additional sound-deadening material addresses cabin noise. That claim is not an independently verified road-test result, so cabin-noise improvement should not be assumed as a tested outcome. Read Honda Cars India’s October 6, 2026 announcement for the manufacturer’s description of the refresh.

There is no independent post-launch road-test assessment of the refreshed model, including no independent finding on whether the claimed sound-deadening change reduces noise in practice. Treat the facelift’s advertised changes as manufacturer statements unless a test result is available, and make your decision on the published equipment, price and powertrain information that can be compared now.

A quick decision checklist

  • Set your real budget: compare the ex-showroom price with your dealer’s complete on-road quote.
  • Choose the transmission: eliminate SV if you need a CVT; then weigh the price and the CVT-specific equipment in the trim you want.
  • Prioritise comfort: front-seat ventilation is listed from ZX; powered front seats and rear-seat ventilation are ZX+ features.
  • Consider parking needs: V adds a rear camera; ZX+ is listed with a 360-degree camera and front parking sensors.
  • Decide whether the ZX upgrades earn their cost: its larger screen, ventilated front seats and Honda SENSING functions make it the general value pick, but only if you value those additions over VX’s lower price.
  • Check the exact car: confirm trim, transmission, colour, feature allocation, availability and the final quote with the dealer.

For a more detailed purchase check, take the same questions to each quote: Is it a core trim or ZX+ Black? Is it manual or CVT? Which colour is included, and is there a surcharge? Does the written equipment list match the trim you selected? What are the separate registration, insurance and options charges? This makes competing quotes easier to compare and helps prevent a low ex-showroom price from being mistaken for the full amount due.

Finally, confirm availability and current dealer terms before making a booking. Autocar India’s launch report provides launch-era ex-showroom prices and its current variant guide provides the trim breakdown, but prices, stock and variant equipment can change. A written, city-specific quote for the exact trim, transmission and colour is the useful basis for a purchase decision.

Does the Honda Elevate SV come with an automatic transmission?

No. SV is manual-only; V, VX, ZX and ZX+ also offer a CVT option.

Are the Elevate mileage figures real-world results?

No. The published 15.31 km/l manual and 16.61 km/l CVT figures are claimed figures, not independent real-world test results.

What is the price of the Honda Elevate facelift in India?

Autocar India lists the five core trims from ₹11.80 lakh for SV manual to ₹18.30 lakh for ZX+ CVT, ex-showroom. A separate launch report lists ZX+ Black at ₹16.90 lakh with manual and ₹18.40 lakh with CVT. Confirm a current city-specific on-road quote with a Honda dealer.

Which Honda Elevate trims offer a CVT?

V, VX, ZX and ZX+ offer a CVT option in the reported variant guide. The entry SV is manual-only.

Which Honda Elevate variant has a 360-degree camera?

The current variant guide lists the 360-degree camera and front parking sensors on ZX+. Honda’s launch announcement confirms the refreshed model’s Surround Vision equipment, but does not give the complete trim allocation.

Does the Elevate facelift have a diesel or hybrid version?

No diesel or strong-hybrid Elevate option is established in the current reporting. The refreshed model retains a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine with a six-speed manual or CVT.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Has the facelift’s cabin-noise improvement been independently tested?

No independent post-launch road-test result confirms the improvement. Autocar India reports Honda’s claim that added sound-deadening material addresses cabin noise, but there is no independent post-launch road-test result confirming the improvement.

The Bottom Line

For most buyers, shortlist the ZX first: it combines the larger touchscreen, front-seat ventilation, leatherette upholstery and Honda SENSING at a price below ZX+. Choose VX if its sunroof, alloy wheels, wireless charging and LaneWatch are the features you value most and you can do without ZX’s additions. Choose ZX+ if powered front seats, rear-seat ventilation and a 360-degree camera justify its ₹1.41 lakh ex-showroom premium over ZX. If you need a CVT, start at V because SV is manual-only. Before booking, verify the exact trim equipment, colour availability and current on-road quote with a Honda dealer.
