What to check before choosing a 2026 Elevate
Honda announced the New Elevate for India on October 6, 2026. That model-year change makes older variant tables and prices poor substitutes for a current offer: historical names or equipment may not map directly to the car a dealer is quoting. Use the current New Elevate brochure and document index, and have the dealer identify the exact grade, transmission and model year in writing.

Honda’s homepage showed a ₹11,80,000 starting price when accessed October 10, 2026. Treat it as a displayed starting figure, not a promise of the price in your city or the total cost to drive away. Honda’s test-drive and price information describes displayed prices as indicative, ex-showroom Delhi; offers and availability can vary by location, variant and stock. Request a dated quotation from the authorised dealer you intend to use, and confirm that it applies to the car currently available for delivery. Honda’s New Elevate announcement and booking information and its current homepage are the relevant starting points.
Ask for a complete, comparable quotation
Have the dealer break out the ex-showroom price, registration, insurance, accessories or other options, applicable offers, and any other amount included in the on-road total. Ask which charges are optional, what offer conditions apply, and how long the quoted price and delivery estimate remain valid. Two quotes are useful only if they cover the same grade, transmission, insurance scope and optional equipment.

Offers should be treated as conditional rather than assumed discounts. Honda says prevailing offers and availability can depend on location and variant, and availability information is indicative. Ask the dealer to show the offer’s eligibility and expiry in the quote, and whether it depends on a particular grade, stock unit or purchase condition. If an advertised or verbal figure cannot be reconciled with the itemised quote, ask for an explanation before comparing it with another dealer’s offer.
Which Elevate variant should you choose?
There is not enough verified grade-by-grade 2026 pricing and equipment information to name one current Elevate as the best value. Honda’s current specification page names SV, V, VX, ZX and ZX+ Black, and shows that equipment varies by grade; the October 2026 launch means those names and feature lists need to be checked against the actual current offer. Do not infer a current grade ladder from a past brochure or an older price list. Honda’s Elevate specifications and comparison page is a useful reference, but match it to the current brochure and the dealer’s written quotation.
Compare the same essentials on each quoted grade
- Safety and driver assistance: Honda lists a six-airbag system, ACE body structure, LaneWatch camera, hill-start assist, a multi-angle rear camera and rear parking sensors in its current FAQ. It also lists Honda SENSING functions: Collision Mitigation Braking System, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist, Road Departure Mitigation, Auto High-Beam and Lead Car Departure Notification. Check which items are fitted to the specific grade being quoted; do not assume every listed feature is standard across the range. Honda’s current specifications
- Parking and visibility: Confirm the exact camera and sensor arrangement, including whether the vehicle has the feature you value and whether it is standard equipment or an added accessory.
- Comfort and connectivity: Compare the current brochure’s grade-specific comfort and connectivity equipment against your daily use. A feature’s presence on a model page does not by itself establish that it is included on every grade.
- Transmission: Compare manual and CVT versions separately. Do not assume a feature or price on one transmission applies to the other.
- Final cost and delivery: Compare dated, city-specific quotes for the same grade and equipment, and confirm stock and estimated delivery with the dealer.
If a dealer describes a feature verbally, ask them to point it out in the current brochure or include it in the written offer. This is especially useful during a model-year transition, when older online tables can remain visible alongside new documents.
Recommended Free Tools
A sensible way to narrow the grades is to start with features you consider essential, then compare the incremental price of the quoted grade that adds them. For example, if a particular camera, parking aid or Honda SENSING function matters to you, confirm its presence on the exact grade rather than paying for a higher grade based on an assumption. Then inspect the remaining additions as convenience or styling features and decide whether you would actually use them. The current information does not establish a universal best-value grade, so the right choice depends on the current equipment list and your quote.
Manual or CVT: choose for the drive you actually do
Honda lists the Elevate with a 1.5-litre i-VTEC DOHC petrol engine with VTC, paired with either a 6-speed manual transmission (MT) or a CVT. Honda’s published mileage figures are 15.31 km/l for MT and 16.61 km/l for CVT. These are manufacturer figures, not a guarantee of the fuel consumption you will achieve in your routes and conditions. The cited Honda specification page identifies the petrol manual and CVT options; it does not list a diesel version for India. Honda Elevate specifications and FAQ
| Option | Honda-published mileage | What to use the test drive to decide |
|---|---|---|
| 6-speed manual (MT) | 15.31 km/l | Whether you prefer choosing gears yourself and are comfortable operating the clutch in the traffic and parking conditions you encounter. |
| CVT | 16.61 km/l | Whether its driving feel suits your routine, especially in the stop-and-go traffic you regularly face. |
Test-drive the exact transmission you are considering, ideally on a route that includes the kind of traffic, hills or parking you commonly encounter. A short drive cannot predict your fuel use, but it can reveal whether you are comfortable with the controls and driving feel. Compare the quote for the two transmissions rather than deciding from the mileage figures alone.

For a fair comparison, request quotes for the same grade in both transmissions if both are offered. The published mileage difference is 1.30 km/l in favour of the CVT, but it should not be used by itself to calculate a guaranteed saving: actual consumption depends on use, and the quote may differ by transmission. Treat the test drive and the price difference as separate parts of the decision. A buyer who prefers manual gear selection may value that experience; a buyer who regularly encounters stop-and-go traffic may prefer to evaluate the CVT directly. Honda’s figures are useful for comparison, not a promise for a particular driver.
What the published specifications tell you—and what they do not
Honda gives the Elevate a 458-litre boot capacity. Use that figure as a capacity reference, then check the actual luggage you carry: bulky items, a stroller or several suitcases may fit differently than smaller bags with the same combined volume. If boot usability matters, take representative luggage to the showroom and check access and loading height. Honda’s Elevate specifications and FAQ
Similarly, a listed safety system or convenience feature is not a substitute for confirming its grade-level fitment. Ask the dealer to demonstrate the equipment on the actual car, especially camera views, sensors and any driver-assistance functions you expect to use. Features can differ by grade; the current brochure should be the reference for the specific model year you are buying.
Honda’s FAQ also answers common equipment questions such as transmission type and whether the Elevate is available with diesel in India. The current listed powertrain choices are petrol with manual or CVT transmission; do not choose based on an assumed diesel option. For any feature that affects your decision, distinguish between a model-wide specification and equipment fitted only to certain grades. The written grade-specific feature list is the useful comparison, not a general description of the range.
Which accessories are worth considering?
Honda lists genuine Elevate accessories including a dual-channel DVR with parking monitoring, TPMS shown in Honda Connect, several seat-cover choices, a ventilated seat top cover with massager, step illumination, cargo tray, steering-wheel cover, floor mats, door visor, bumper-corner and body-side protectors, body cover and styling garnishes. The fact that an accessory appears on Honda’s page does not establish that every item is suitable for every model year, included in the car’s price or available at every dealer. Confirm the exact product and fitment before ordering. Honda Elevate product and genuine accessories page
Accessories with a practical use case
- Dual-channel DVR: Consider it if recorded driving footage is useful to you. Ask whether the dealer will fit the listed DVR, how parking monitoring is powered, what happens to the vehicle’s battery when that function is active, and what the written warranty covers. Honda lists the accessory, but does not establish a specific third-party camera’s compatibility or approval.
- TPMS: Consider Honda’s listed TPMS if you want tyre-pressure information displayed in Honda Connect. Confirm the exact components, app requirements and operation with the dealer before paying.
- Cargo tray and floor mats: These can make sense if you often carry wet, muddy or messy items. Check how each product fits the car, whether it can be removed for cleaning and whether the mat interferes with pedal movement.
- Body-side and bumper-corner protection: These may suit tight parking situations or a buyer who wants extra protection from light contact. Inspect the actual trim and installed finish; protective accessories add visible material to the body and are not a guarantee against damage.
- Seat covers and comfort accessories: Compare the exact cover or ventilated seat top cover with your comfort needs and ask how installation affects the original upholstery, seat functions and warranty terms.
Accessories that are primarily about appearance
Door visors, step illumination and styling garnishes may suit your taste, but evaluate them as optional appearance or convenience purchases rather than assuming they add performance or safety. Ask for the full fitted price and inspect the product or a clear current image before approving the order. If the car looks right to you without the additions, keeping it standard is a valid choice.

Make the accessory decision after you have settled on the grade and on-road price, not as an automatic part of the booking. Ask for an itemised accessory list so optional products do not disappear into a bundled figure. A bundle can still be worthwhile if it contains items you want at a price you accept, but compare its components and installed total with buying only the accessories you need. For instance, a cargo tray has a clear practical case for frequent wet or muddy loads; a garnish is mainly a styling choice. These are different kinds of value and should be judged separately.
If you are considering a non-Honda dash camera, treat “Honda Elevate dash camera” as a product category to investigate rather than proof that a particular listing fits or is approved. Confirm model-year compatibility and installation with the seller or installer, and do not assume a third-party device carries Honda’s warranty or endorsement. The official accessory listing confirms that Honda offers a DVR category, not the suitability of every external camera.
Get fitment and warranty in writing
Before authorising any accessory, get its product name or part identification, installed price, fitment confirmation for your model year and written warranty terms. Do not assume a single warranty applies to all accessories. For context, Honda’s November 3, 2025 ADV Edition announcement said the genuine-accessory pack warranty was limited to one year from purchase; that specific statement is not a warranty term for every accessory or for a 2026 purchase. Ask what applies to the item you are actually buying. Honda’s 2025 ADV Edition announcement

How to treat the Elevate ADV Edition prices
Honda announced the ADV Edition on November 3, 2025. Its Delhi ex-showroom prices at announcement were as follows. They are historical figures, not 2026 pricing guidance or an estimate of a current on-road total. Honda described the styling pack as dealer-fitted genuine accessories, while its listed 360-degree camera was a separately priced third-party option. Honda’s ADV Edition announcement
| 2025 ADV Edition configuration | Delhi ex-showroom price at announcement |
|---|---|
| Single-tone MT | ₹15,29,000 |
| Dual-tone MT | ₹15,49,000 |
| Single-tone CVT | ₹16,46,800 |
| Dual-tone CVT | ₹16,66,800 |
Use the announcement to understand what that edition included at the time, not to judge whether the same edition, equipment or price is available now. If a dealer offers an ADV-style package or similar add-ons on a current car, ask for an itemised price and confirm exactly which components are included.
The listed figures show that the 2025 announcement distinguished both transmission and single- versus dual-tone configurations; they are not interchangeable prices for one generic package. The announcement also separated the styling accessories from the third-party 360-degree camera. Keep those distinctions intact when reviewing a current dealer proposal: ask which parts are genuine Honda accessories, which are separate options, and which quoted amount is historical versus current. Do not treat a previous edition’s price as a discount benchmark for the 2026 range.

A practical purchase sequence
- Choose your transmission shortlist. Decide whether you want to evaluate MT, CVT or both, then arrange a test drive in the exact transmission.
- Get the current brochure. Use the New Elevate brochure from Honda’s document index, not an older model-year document. Confirm its grade names and equipment against the car being offered. Honda brochures, accessory brochures and owner manuals
- Request a dated quote. Ask a local authorised dealer for a complete quote for the specific grade, transmission and model year, with charges and offers itemised.
- Verify the equipment on the car. Check the safety, camera, parking, comfort and connectivity items you care about against the brochure and the actual vehicle.
- Decide on accessories separately. Start with a practical need, confirm fitment and installed cost, and review the written warranty before accepting any add-on.
- Confirm availability and delivery. Ask the dealer to confirm the vehicle’s configuration, stock status and delivery estimate, and note how long the quote and any offer remain valid.
Keep copies of the current brochure or relevant feature pages, the itemised quote and any accessory warranty information while comparing offers. This makes it easier to check that each dealer is quoting the same car and prevents an accessory bundle or variant difference from being mistaken for a lower price. Before booking, reconfirm the quoted configuration and delivery estimate because the displayed availability is indicative and can change with local stock.

Bottom line: buy the quoted car, not an old variant table
The safest way to choose is to match three things: the current brochure, the actual car and a dated local quote. Make the transmission decision through a test drive, verify grade-specific equipment rather than assuming it, and add only accessories with a clear use case and written fitment and warranty terms. Honda’s displayed starting price and published mileage are useful reference points, but neither replaces the quote and configuration you are being asked to buy.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the current starting price of the 2026 Honda Elevate?
Honda’s homepage displayed a starting price of ₹11,80,000 when accessed on October 10, 2026. Treat that as a displayed starting price, not a city-specific on-road total or full grade price list. Honda describes displayed prices as indicative and ex-showroom Delhi; ask an authorised dealer for a dated quote showing your grade, transmission, insurance, registration, options and applicable offers.
Which Honda Elevate variant is the best value?
There is not enough verified grade-by-grade 2026 price and equipment information to name one best-value grade. Honda’s current specification page lists SV, V, VX, ZX and ZX+ Black, but the October 2026 model transition makes it important to verify that the names and features apply to the car being quoted. Compare the current brochure, actual vehicle and itemised quote, prioritising the features you will use.

What mileage does Honda claim for the Elevate manual and CVT?
Honda’s published figures are 15.31 km/l for the manual and 16.61 km/l for the CVT. These are manufacturer figures, not a guarantee of the consumption you will achieve. Your routes and driving conditions matter, so test-drive the transmission you prefer and compare the actual quotes as well as the published numbers.
How much boot space does the Honda Elevate have?
Honda lists a boot capacity of 458 litres. If you regularly carry a stroller, suitcases or bulky items, check the boot with your own representative luggage: capacity figures do not show how easily a particular shape or load fits through the opening.
Which safety features should I verify on the quoted grade?
Honda’s current FAQ names a six-airbag system, ACE body structure, LaneWatch camera, hill-start assist, multi-angle rear camera and rear parking sensors. Honda also lists Honda SENSING functions including Collision Mitigation Braking System, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist, Road Departure Mitigation, Auto High-Beam and Lead Car Departure Notification. Check the current brochure and ask the dealer to demonstrate the equipment fitted to your specific grade; do not assume every item is standard across the range.

Are Honda Elevate accessories included, and what warranty do they have?
Honda lists accessories such as a dual-channel DVR with parking monitoring, TPMS, cargo tray, floor mats, seat covers and styling garnishes, but a listing does not mean the item is included with the car or available at every dealer. Confirm model-year fitment, installed price and written warranty for each product. Honda’s November 3, 2025 ADV Edition announcement stated a one-year-from-purchase warranty for that genuine-accessory pack; that does not establish the warranty for every accessory.
Are the 2025 ADV Edition prices still current?
No. The figures ₹15,29,000 to ₹16,66,800 were Delhi ex-showroom prices in Honda’s November 3, 2025 announcement, covering single- and dual-tone manual and CVT configurations. They are historical, not 2026 pricing guidance. Honda described the ADV styling pack as dealer-fitted genuine accessories and its 360-degree camera as a separately priced third-party option.
