No. Honda cancelled development and the planned market launch of both the Honda 0 SUV and Honda 0 Saloon on March 12, 2026. The two vehicles had been shown as prototypes, with a North American launch planned for 2026; they are not current production cars available to order.
What Honda announced—and what changed
Honda introduced the 0 Series at CES in January 2024 as a new global battery-electric vehicle series intended to begin launching in 2026. Its first concepts were called Saloon and Space-Hub. Honda’s January 2024 announcement described an intended future product line, not vehicles then available for purchase.
At CES on January 7, 2025, Honda presented the 0 SUV and 0 Saloon prototypes. It said production models based on them would launch in North America in 2026, followed by global markets, and identified the SUV as the first model. That schedule was a plan, not confirmation that either car entered production. Honda’s 2025 announcement records the prototype reveal and the proposed launch timing.
The plan was superseded on March 12, 2026. Honda announced that it had decided to cancel development and market launch of the 0 SUV and 0 Saloon, as well as the Acura RSX EV. The company said the decision followed a reassessment of its automobile electrification strategy amid the prevailing EV business environment and concern that proceeding could lead to further losses. Honda’s cancellation announcement is the controlling update on the two 0 Series models.

What the two prototypes were meant to be
The 0 SUV and 0 Saloon were distinct body-style concepts presented under Honda’s “Thin, Light, and Wise” development approach. Honda’s 2025 release positioned them as the first models in the planned 0 Series, but the prototype descriptions should not be mistaken for final production specifications.

Honda also described ASIMO OS, an original vehicle operating system, and an ambition to expand Level 3 eyes-off automated driving through the series. These were announced technology directions, not verified features of production 0 Series cars. The reviewed Honda announcements do not establish final range, charging rate, power, price, production specifications, retail availability, or a dealer ordering path for either cancelled model.

Did Honda revive the 0 Series as hybrids?
No. In a May 2026 briefing, Honda described shifting planned EV resources toward hybrids and presented next-generation hybrid prototypes that it expected to put on sale within two years. That announcement is strategic context, not evidence that the cancelled 0 SUV or 0 Saloon returned under a hybrid name or specification. There is no announced Honda 0 SUV or 0 Saloon production model to reserve or buy on the basis of the CES plans. Those plans were cancelled before Honda established production specifications, pricing, or a retail ordering route in the official material reviewed here. If you are following Honda’s electrification plans, treat later hybrid announcements as separate vehicles unless Honda explicitly connects them to the 0 Series.
