The Heybike Villain is an off-road electric dirt bike, not a road-legal electric motorcycle by default. On Heybike’s U.S. product page, it was listed at a sale price of $1,299 on October 8, 2026, but its speed, range and power figures are manufacturer claims, not independently verified results. Regional pages also show different specifications, so check the exact version and local riding rules before buying.
What is the Heybike Villain?
Heybike markets the Villain under names including “V1” and “Electric Dirt Bike.” The U.S. listing describes it as designed for off-road use only and tells riders to check local laws. That makes the intended riding location a first-order buying question: do not assume that the bike can be registered or ridden on public streets where you live.

The U.S. price shown on Heybike’s listing was $1,299 on October 8, 2026, discounted from a listed regular price of $1,499. This is a time-sensitive U.S. listing, not a guaranteed current or delivered price. Heybike’s European product page showed €1,499 and a different regional specification presentation. A sale price by itself does not establish that the Villain is affordable compared with competing bikes; that would require a current, like-for-like market comparison.
What does Heybike list for the U.S. version?
These are specifications and performance figures published by Heybike for its U.S. product listing. They are not results of independent testing.
#1 Best Overall
- Package Included: Black dirt bike + Bag+ Phone Holder. (Items may be shipped separately and arrive at different times)
- 4160W Peak Power and Quick Acceleration: Unleash up to 4160W of peak power and accelerate from 0 to 10 mph in just 0.9 seconds; With a max speed of 45 mph, this electric dirt bike delivers forceful acceleration for climbing hills and powering across open trails
- 1352Wh Battery for Longer Rides: The high-capacity 52V 26Ah battery delivers up to 50 miles of range and recharges in just 4–6 hours; The electric motorcycle's built-in battery management system helps protect against overcharging, while UL 2849 certification and UN 38.3 testing provide added confidence
- A Smoother Ride When Trails Get Rough: The hydraulic front fork absorbs hard landings and harsh impacts, while the nitrogen-charged rear shock maintains consistent damping through repeated bumps—helping you stay composed and in control over potholes, rocks, and uneven trails
- Confident Control When It Matters: Dual hydraulic brakes deliver strong, responsive stopping power on steep descents, loose surfaces, and rough trails; If the rider falls, the magnetic wrist tether disconnects to cut motor power and prevent continued acceleration

Heybike recommends rider heights from 3 feet 9 inches to 6 feet 1 inch. That broad range is a starting point, not a substitute for checking whether a specific rider can reach the controls, manage the bike’s weight and stop securely.
How much speed and range should you expect?
Heybike advertises up to 45 mph and up to 50 miles of range for the U.S. listing. Those “up to” values are company claims, and the page specifically says range varies with load, terrain, speed and temperature. The available information does not establish a typical real-world range, a measured top speed, or braking distances. A buyer should not treat the headline figures as guaranteed outcomes for a particular rider or route.
The listed speed modes—20, 38 and 45 mph—are also manufacturer specifications. Before riding, understand how the modes work on the bike you receive and select a speed appropriate to the trail, rider experience and conditions.

Why the regional specification difference matters
Heybike’s European page presents a 500W motor and a 20 km/h maximum speed in its specification section, while the U.S. page lists a 4,160W peak motor output and speeds up to 45 mph. The discrepancy is unresolved, and the regional listings should not be treated as proof that the same configuration is sold everywhere.

Heybike’s U.S. page says the Villain is for off-road use only, advises riders to obey traffic regulations and yield to pedestrians, and asks buyers to confirm the rider is at least 14 years old. These manufacturer statements do not settle legal age limits, vehicle classification or access rules in every jurisdiction. Check local requirements for the rider, vehicle and riding area.

Heybike Europe recommends protective equipment including a helmet, knee pads and elbow pads. Choose gear designed for the riding conditions and properly fitted to the rider. The U.S. listing also advertises a safety start system, magnetic safety switch, reverse assist, hydraulic disc brakes and three speed modes. Those are feature claims; no braking-distance, crash-protection or independent operational test results are established here.
Assembly, manuals and routine ownership
Heybike says the U.S. bike arrives 95% pre-assembled. Its listed package contents include a charger, keys, mudguards, pegs, a front wheel and a manual QR card. Plan to follow the manufacturer’s setup instructions rather than assuming that “pre-assembled” means ready to ride without checks.

Heybike’s manual page links the Villain user manual and assembly and battery instruction videos. Consult those resources for setup, charging and service guidance. The U.S. specification gives a 114-link 420 chain, but that alone does not establish replacement-part compatibility; confirm the correct part with the manual or Heybike support before ordering.
Quick Recap
What to check before buying
- Riding access: Confirm that the intended trails or private property allow this vehicle and that the local rules fit the bike’s classification.
- Exact regional version: Get the motor, speed, battery and charger specifications for the market and model being sold to you.
- Rider fit: Use the listed seat height and recommended height as reference points, then assess control reach and ability to handle the bike safely.
- Expected range: Treat 50 miles as Heybike’s upper claim, not a promised trip distance; riding conditions affect range.
- Total purchase cost: Recheck the live listing and any delivery charges, since the observed U.S. sale price can change.
- Setup and support: Review the manual and ask Heybike about service or replacement-part compatibility before relying on assumptions.
