What is the Hennessey Venom F5-M Roadster?
It is an open-top version of Hennessey’s Venom F5, developed around a six-speed gated manual transmission and rear-wheel drive. What is distinctive about the Roadster’s design?
Hennessey describes a 55-inch (1,400-mm) dorsal fin running from the roof-mounted intake to the rear deck. The company says the feature enhances high-speed aerodynamics; that performance explanation is Hennessey’s, not an independently tested conclusion. The 2026 specification also lists a roof scoop and bespoke aerodynamics.

The manual layout prompted a redesigned center console, according to Nathan Malinick, Hennessey Special Vehicles’ director of design. The company presents the F5-M as a design response to greater driver involvement, combining the gated shifter with the open cockpit rather than treating either as an isolated option.

Hennessey’s July 2026 announcement lists a starting price of $2.65 million before taxes and production of 12 cars worldwide. Those are manufacturer-published price and production statements, not evidence of transaction prices. The September 2024 announcement said the 12-car allocation had already sold; that historical statement does not establish present-day resale availability.
Is the Venom F5 Revolution LF the same car?
No. Hennessey’s August 2025 release describes the Venom F5 Revolution LF as a one-off customer commission with a six-speed gated manual and Evolution features. It is separate from the 12-car F5-M Roadster production run. A manual transmission alone does not make an F5 a Roadster or an F5-M.
