What is the Hennessey VelociRaptoR 1000?
It is a Hennessey Performance conversion based on the Ford F-150 Raptor R. Hennessey’s May 2024 announcement said production had begun, distinguishing the production package from the development program the company had announced earlier. The VelociRaptoR name refers to Hennessey’s modified truck, not a separately named factory Ford vehicle.
Hennessey said it planned to build 500 vehicles. That was a production target announced in 2024, not a confirmed final production count or a statement of current allocation.
How much power does it make?
Hennessey reported 1,043 bhp for the VelociRaptoR 1000. The company also gave a 0–60 mph time of 3.1 seconds and a quarter-mile time of 11.4 seconds at 122 mph. These are Hennessey’s published figures from 2024; they are not independently verified test results in the available reporting.

What does the conversion include?
The package combines engine upgrades with changes to the truck’s suspension, exterior equipment, wheels and tires. Hennessey’s production announcement listed:
- A 3.8-liter supercharger, high-flow air induction, fuel-system upgrades and engine-management calibration.
- Suspension leveling with a three-inch lift.
- VelociRaptor bumpers, Hennessey wheels and off-road tires.
- Powered fold-out steps.
The release listed a six-piston Brembo performance brake upgrade as optional, rather than standard equipment on every conversion.

What warranty and ordering details did Hennessey announce?
Hennessey announced a three-year/36,000-mile warranty with the package. Its May 2024 production announcement said buyers could order through authorized Ford retailers or directly from Hennessey. Those details describe the announcement; they do not confirm present-day ordering terms, inventory or availability.
Hennessey’s current Raptor R upgrade page continues to describe the VelociRaptoR 1000 package, but the reviewed information does not establish its current price, the specific model years it accepts, or any remaining production allocation. A prospective buyer should confirm those details, along with the warranty terms applicable to a particular vehicle, directly with Hennessey or a participating retailer before making a purchase decision.

What the announcement does—and does not—establish
The production announcement makes the VelociRaptoR 1000 a clearly defined Hennessey conversion, with company-published power and acceleration claims and a list of included hardware. It does not provide independently tested performance, a verified final build total, or current pricing and stock information. Without comparable test results and current prices for the truck and conversion, the published figures alone are not enough to establish whether it is a better-performing or better-value choice than another modified pickup.
Hennessey founder and CEO John Hennessey described the package as “the 911 Turbo S of trucks.” That is the company founder’s promotional comparison, not an independent evaluation.
