For 2026, Harley-Davidson’s US lineup includes six well-documented performance standouts across touring, cruiser, adventure-touring and roadster categories. The Pan America 1250 ST leads this group in published horsepower at 150 hp; the CVO Road Glide ST and CVO Street Glide ST list the highest torque, at 145 ft-lb each. Those figures do not make a universal fastest-to-slowest ranking: the bikes serve different purposes, and the available manufacturer specifications are not independent timed tests.
How to compare Harley-Davidson performance
Peak horsepower is only one part of the picture. Torque, chassis setup, suspension, braking, wheels and tires, ergonomics, and intended use all affect how a motorcycle performs on the road. A touring bagger designed for long-distance comfort and a street-tuned adventure bike are not direct substitutes, even when their engine figures can be compared.
The figures below are Harley-Davidson’s published specifications for its 2026 US models. They are not results from an apples-to-apples acceleration, lap-time, or top-speed test. Check the local Harley-Davidson listing for the model year, market, and exact trim you are considering.
Six 2026 Harley-Davidson performance standouts
| Motorcycle | Published output | Best fit |
|---|---|---|
| CVO Road Glide ST | 127 hp; 145 ft-lb | Race-inspired performance touring |
| CVO Street Glide ST | 127 hp; 145 ft-lb | Performance touring with selectable ride modes |
| CVO Street Glide | 115 hp; 139 ft-lb | Touring performance and refinement |
| Low Rider ST | 114 hp; 128 ft-lb | Performance-oriented cruiser |
| Sportster S | 121 hp; 93 ft-lb | Liquid-cooled roadster performance |
| Pan America 1250 ST | 150 hp; 94 ft-lb | Street-focused adventure sport touring |
CVO Road Glide ST: performance touring with race-inspired features
Harley-Davidson lists the CVO Road Glide ST with a Milwaukee-Eight 121 High Output engine rated at 127 hp and 145 ft-lb. The manufacturer also highlights adjustable suspension and track modes. It is best understood as a performance-focused touring bagger, not a lightweight sportbike. See the 2026 US CVO Road Glide ST specifications.

CVO Street Glide ST: the other high-torque CVO bagger
The CVO Street Glide ST shares the published 127 hp and 145 ft-lb figures and Milwaukee-Eight 121 High Output engine description. Harley-Davidson lists eight selectable ride modes, including Track and Track+, along with remote-reservoir suspension. Those features make it the most explicitly mode-focused touring choice in this group; they do not establish a track-time advantage over another model.
CVO Street Glide: touring power without the ST designation
The CVO Street Glide is listed at 115 hp and 139 ft-lb, with a Milwaukee-Eight VVT 121 engine and upgraded suspension. Its published output is below the two CVO ST models, but the comparison is not a verdict on overall pace or handling. Consider it for a touring-oriented blend of power and refinement.

Low Rider ST: a performance-minded cruiser
The Low Rider ST’s Milwaukee-Eight 117 High Output is listed at 114 hp and 128 ft-lb. Harley-Davidson describes performance-tuned suspension, a Heavy Breather intake, and a 2-into-1 exhaust. It brings a cruiser format to the performance comparison rather than the touring-bagger or adventure-touring format.
Sportster S: liquid-cooled roadster power
The Sportster S uses the liquid-cooled Revolution Max 1250T and is listed at 121 hp and 93 ft-lb. Its fully adjustable suspension and Brembo braking are the headline chassis details in the available 2026 model information. Its output profile differs from the higher-torque Milwaukee-Eight models, so choose based on the riding character and controls you want, not horsepower alone.

Pan America 1250 ST: the horsepower leader in this group
At 150 hp and 94 ft-lb, the Pan America 1250 ST has the highest published horsepower among these six 2026 candidates. Harley-Davidson positions it as a street-tuned adventure sport tourer and lists 17-inch wheels, a clutchless quickshifter, and Adaptive Ride Height. Its higher horsepower does not prove it is the fastest in every real-world measure.
Which one suits your kind of performance?
- For published horsepower: The Pan America 1250 ST leads the six listed models at 150 hp.
- For published torque: The CVO Road Glide ST and CVO Street Glide ST share the lead at 145 ft-lb.
- For performance touring: Compare the CVO ST baggers with the CVO Street Glide, paying attention to their distinct engine and chassis descriptions.
- For a cruiser format: The Low Rider ST is the Milwaukee-Eight-powered option in this group.
- For a liquid-cooled roadster: Consider the Sportster S; for street-focused adventure touring, consider the Pan America 1250 ST.
Harley-Davidson describes the CVO ST and Low Rider ST with Milwaukee-Eight engines, while the Sportster S and Pan America 1250 ST use Revolution Max engines. That distinction, along with chassis and riding position, is more useful for choosing between categories than a single peak-output number.

Why this is not a ten-bike fastest-to-slowest ranking
The current-model specifications established here support six distinct 2026 US candidates, not ten unique models with comparable published details. Prior-year CVO Pan America and Pan America 1250 ST listings are not additional 2026 entries, and repeating current models or mixing model years would make the count misleading. No independent comparative acceleration, lap-time, or top-speed results are established for these motorcycles, so the figures above support a buyer’s comparison—not a definitive ranking.
