Does the Happier Camper HC1 Studio have a bathroom and shower?
Yes. Happier Camper’s current HC1 Studio listing describes a built-in bathroom with a shower, a vent with light, toiletries storage and a covered toilet-paper holder. The toilet is a Dry-Flush model, and the manufacturer says it can be removed to create more shower space. What toilet is in the Studio?
The listed toilet is a removable Dry-Flush unit. Removing it makes more room for showering; the product page does not describe a conventional fixed toilet installation.
What comes in the kitchenette?
The built-in kitchenette includes a sink, propane double-burner stove, drawer refrigerator, utensil drawer, wine-and-spice rack and upper storage. How is the HC1 Studio different from the modular HC1?
The Studio and HC1 share a compact footprint and fiberglass-shell concept, but their interiors are organized differently. The HC1 has a fully modular 3-by-5 floor grid. Its Adaptiv components can be rearranged, and the manufacturer lists modular toilet, kitchenette and shower components. The Studio uses a semi-modular 3-by-3 floor and integrates its bathroom and kitchenette into the trailer. A typical queen bed occupies the full modular area. For the HC1, Happier Camper describes bed arrangements including twin, queen, king and a full-trailer “Megabed,” formed by combining different numbers of Adaptiv rows. How much does the HC1 Studio weigh, and what should you tow it with?
Happier Camper currently publishes an approximate dry weight of 1,800 lb for the HC1 Studio, a tongue-weight range of 180–220 lb, a 10-foot shell and a 13-foot-5-inch overall length. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent measurements. Dry weight does not represent a loaded trailer; water, gear and options add weight. Check the ratings for the specific trailer and tow vehicle, including payload and hitch limits, before towing. HC1 Studio specifications
Do not use the lighter HC1’s figures as though they apply to the Studio. Happier Camper’s FAQ gives the HC1 a dry weight of 1,100 lb and says it can approach 1,500 lb or more when fully loaded; its recommendation of at least 2,000 lb of tow capacity is specifically for the HC1.
