That makes the question more interesting than a list of universally admired supercars. One person’s guilty pleasure might be a loud, impractical weekend car; another’s might be an unfashionable daily driver with a character they can’t resist. The deciding factor is the owner’s affection, not whether the car is objectively good or bad.

What car do you enjoy even though you know it has a flaw, an image problem or an obvious compromise? Name the model—and say what makes you like it despite the objections. That answer is more useful than simply calling a car “underrated”: it tells other enthusiasts what the pleasure is, and what the guilt is.
