GoSun says its Camp365 solar camper trailer can be deployed by one person in less than 10 minutes. The claim refers to unfolding and leveling the trailer into a standing cabin; it is not an independently verified test. The current Camp365 combines a compact towable design with solar power, sleeping space, cooking, refrigeration, water equipment and optional off-grid climate control.
GoSun says its Camp365 solar camper trailer can be deployed by one person in less than 10 minutes. The claim describes unfolding and leveling the trailer into a standing cabin; it is not an independently verified test result. The current Camp365 is a compact, solar-integrated towable with sleeping space, cooking equipment, refrigeration, water systems and optional off-grid climate control.
What is the GoSun Camp365?
The Camp365 travels as a relatively short, low-profile trailer and expands at camp into a cabin. Gas-shock-assisted side walls lift into position, and a seven-point leveling system is intended to help stabilize the expanded structure on uneven ground. GoSun and RV News have described one-person setup in approximately 10 minutes or less.
That fast setup is the trailer’s defining advantage. It is not a conventional hard-sided travel trailer with a long list of built-in systems, nor is it simply a tent trailer. The fold-out cabin combines a compact towing footprint with a large interior when deployed. GoSun claims approximately 700 cubic feet of living volume, with folding beds, screened and tinted windows, side awnings and a rear hatch that converts into an indoor/outdoor table.

Current Camp365 price, size and weight
GoSun’s current product listing gives the base Camp365 a price of $32,500, with shipping calculated separately. The company estimates that custom-edition production models take approximately 90 days after full payment. Buyers can purchase through the Camp365 product page or contact Camp365 sales through GoSun’s help-center route.
These are the current figures published by GoSun, rather than numbers taken from older launch coverage:
| Specification | Current listed figure |
|---|---|
| Unloaded base-trailer weight | 1,495 pounds |
| Gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) | 2,200 pounds |
| Road-mode length | 15 feet 6 inches |
| Exterior road/trail height | 6 feet 8 inches |
| Maximum exterior height when expanded | 10 feet |
| Maximum interior height | 7 feet 6 inches |
| Maximum cabin interior length | 8 feet 5 inches |
| Maximum cabin interior width | 11 feet 8 inches |
| Ground clearance | 11.25 inches |
| Claimed living volume | Approximately 700 cubic feet |
| Hitch | Two-inch ball connection |
| Suspension | Independent torsion axle |
| Wheels and tires | 12-inch wheels with high-speed tires |
The 1,495-pound figure is the unloaded base-trailer weight, not the weight of a fully packed camping setup. Water, propane, food, clothing, batteries or other cargo can bring the trailer closer to its 2,200-pound GVWR. Tow-vehicle selection should therefore account for the loaded trailer and the vehicle’s hitch, payload and braking requirements—not just the dry number.
Construction and living features
The Camp365 uses a powder-coated aluminum chassis with a steel axle and tongue. GoSun lists marine-grade composite flooring, insulated composite end walls and doors, and a puncture-resistant translucent waterproof roof. The design also includes screened and tinted windows and side awnings.
Inside, folding beds allow the cabin to be configured for sleeping or daytime use. The rear hatch becomes a table that can serve the interior or extend outside. Those features make the trailer more flexible than a fixed sleeping compartment, although the published dimensions should not be read as equivalent to a large RV: much of the usable space depends on how the fold-out beds and other furniture are arranged.
How solar-powered is the Camp365?
The Camp365 is better described as solar-integrated and designed for off-grid use than as a trailer that can run every appliance indefinitely from sunlight. Its current listed electrical equipment includes:
- GoSun Power1100 solar-ready power bank;
- vehicle charging while hauling;
- a 100-watt solar panel;
- a 120-watt GoSun SolarTable;
- 30-amp shore-power capability;
- an 8,000-BTU air conditioner;
- a 580-watt ceramic electric heater with thermostat;
- five 12-volt outlets;
- two 110-volt outlets;
- USB-C Power Delivery and additional USB connections.
The battery and solar equipment can support the trailer’s off-grid functions, but runtime depends on sunlight, temperature, battery state, appliance use and charging opportunities. Air conditioning and electric heating are especially demanding loads. A buyer planning to use climate control overnight or in poor weather should ask GoSun for the exact battery capacity, charging limits and expected runtime for the quoted configuration.
What comes with the current package?
GoSun’s current “In the Box” list is unusually broad. It includes:
- GoSun Chill;
- GoSun Power 1100;
- two GoSun SolarPanel 100 units;
- GoSun SolarTable 120;
- GoSun Fusion;
- two GoSun Brew units;
- two GoSun Heated Blankets;
- two GoSun Breeze units;
- GoSun Flow and Flow Pro;
- a cassette toilet;
- air conditioner;
- inflatable bed frames and sleeping pads;
- 12-volt air pump;
- propane water heater and shower curtain;
- storage duffel bags; and
- a ceramic space heater.
Because trailer packages and custom editions can change, buyers should request a written equipment list for the specific Camp365 being quoted. “Solar-powered” does not mean the trailer has no fuel or hookup requirements: the current package includes a propane water heater, and the trailer supports vehicle charging and 30-amp campground or electrical hookup power.
Related GoSun equipment
The GoSun SolarPanel 100 is the most directly relevant accessory for someone evaluating the Camp365’s generation capacity. GoSun lists two of these panels in the current package, but Amazon availability and a stable listing should be checked before treating it as a separate purchase option. The same applies to the GoSun Power 1100, Fusion solar oven, Chill cooler and SolarTable 120: each is relevant to the Camp365 system, but the trailer’s included equipment and accessory compatibility should be confirmed against the current configuration.
Why older Camp365 specifications do not always match
Readers comparing reviews may find different prices, weights and solar figures. Those differences appear to reflect model year, package and whether a source describes an unloaded or fully equipped trailer.

- RV News reported an approximately 1,800-pound fully loaded figure, more than 300 watts of solar power and a $32,500 MSRP in 2022.
- Gear Patrol reported an all-in price of $33,950 and a $500 deposit in its earlier coverage.
- RV.com documented an earlier Camp365 configuration using the 1,495-pound unloaded figure and 2,200-pound GVWR, along with historical model pricing.
Those historical reports should not be merged into the current specification table. In particular, the older $23,400, $24,995 and $33,950 prices should not be presented as the current Camp365 price. For a new order, GoSun’s current listing and written quotation should control.

The trailer makes the most sense for a buyer who wants more shelter and equipment than a tent or basic pop-up, but does not want to tow a conventional large RV. Its low listed base weight, compact road dimensions, rapid deployment and integrated solar products may appeal to:
- campers who frequently move between sites and do not want a long setup process;
- owners of appropriately rated smaller tow vehicles;
- buyers who value a configurable cabin over a permanent RV interior;
- off-grid users who want battery power, solar generation and water equipment in one package; and
- people who need a towable guest room, hunting camp or remote-work shelter rather than a full-size motorhome.
It is less suitable for someone who expects the amenities, insulation, storage capacity or all-weather climate-control endurance of a conventional travel trailer. The 1,495-pound base weight also requires careful packing because the difference between unloaded weight and the 2,200-pound GVWR is the available allowance for cargo and installed or carried equipment.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.What to verify before ordering
- Confirm the exact price. Ask whether the quote is for the $32,500 base model or a custom edition, and add shipping and any selected options.
- Ask for the production schedule in writing. GoSun currently estimates approximately 90 days after full payment for custom-edition production models. A quoted delivery date can depend on configuration and production capacity.
- Match the trailer to the tow vehicle. Check the vehicle’s rated towing capacity, hitch rating, payload, tongue-weight limit and electrical connection. Use the trailer’s loaded operating weight—not only its unloaded base weight—for the calculation.
- Confirm the package contents. Request the current “In the Box” list for the specific unit, including solar panels, power bank, cooling, heating, water equipment, toilet and sleeping components.
- Plan for water and propane. The included propane water heater means the trailer is not a fuel-free system. Confirm tank or canister arrangements, water capacity, wastewater handling and shower use.
- Calculate electrical demand. Ask how long the Power1100 can run the refrigerator, fans, lights and other loads, and separately evaluate the energy demand of the 8,000-BTU air conditioner and 580-watt heater.
- Measure storage space. The road-mode height is listed at 6 feet 8 inches, while the expanded exterior reaches 10 feet. A garage or storage shelter must accommodate the trailer’s actual road dimensions, hitch clearance and maneuvering space.
- Understand setup conditions. The under-10-minute claim assumes a workable setup process. Confirm the required ground conditions, leveling procedure, awning deployment and whether the stated time includes unpacking, utility connections and interior bed setup.
How the Camp365 compares with a tent or small RV
| Consideration | Camp365 | Tent or basic pop-up | Conventional small RV |
|---|---|---|---|
| Setup | GoSun describes one-person deployment in under or around 10 minutes | Usually requires more manual shelter and campsite setup | May require leveling, slide-outs, utilities and more preparation |
| Off-grid equipment | Solar, battery, cooking, water and cooling equipment are integrated into the package | Usually requires separate equipment | Often has more built-in capacity, but can be heavier and more complex |
| Towing | Compact and relatively light on the listed base figure, but cargo still matters | Generally easiest to tow or carry | Usually heavier and more demanding of the tow vehicle |
| Interior | Large fold-out cabin with configurable sleeping space | More exposed and less protected from weather | More permanent furnishings and storage in many models |
| Energy independence | Designed for off-grid use, but runtime is weather- and load-dependent | Uses little energy unless separate appliances are added | May offer larger systems, but often consumes more power |
Bottom line
The GoSun Camp365 is a real, currently marketed solar camper trailer built around a useful compromise: compact towing dimensions and a listed 1,495-pound unloaded base weight, followed by a rapid conversion into a standing cabin with approximately 700 cubic feet of claimed living volume. GoSun’s under-10-minute setup claim is credible as an attributed manufacturer and industry-reporting claim, but it should not be confused with an independent test.
The $32,500 base price, separate shipping, custom-production lead time and broad equipment package make this a serious purchase rather than an impulse camping accessory. The strongest reasons to consider it are quick deployment, integrated GoSun equipment and off-grid flexibility. The most important cautions are loaded weight, tow-vehicle compatibility, climate-control energy consumption, propane and water logistics, storage height and the need to verify exactly what is included in the current build.

How much does the GoSun Camp365 cost?
GoSun’s current listing gives the Camp365 a $32,500 base-model price, with shipping calculated separately. Custom-edition production models are estimated at approximately 90 days after full payment.
How much does the Camp365 weigh?
The current listing gives an unloaded base-trailer weight of 1,495 pounds and a gross vehicle weight rating of 2,200 pounds. The loaded weight—not merely the unloaded figure—must be compared with the tow vehicle’s ratings.
Can the Camp365 run completely off solar power?
It is designed for off-grid use and includes solar panels, a Power1100 power bank, vehicle charging and a SolarTable 120. However, air conditioning, electric heating and other loads consume power, so solar runtime depends on weather, battery state and appliance use. The trailer also includes a propane water heater and supports 30-amp shore power.
The Bottom Line
Bottom line: GoSun’s Camp365 is a solar-integrated fold-out camper that GoSun and industry reports describe as deployable by one person in under or around 10 minutes. The current listing gives it a $32,500 base price, 1,495-pound unloaded weight and 2,200-pound GVWR. It is designed for off-grid use, not guaranteed unlimited solar operation, so buyers should verify the exact package, loaded weight, climate-control runtime, tow-vehicle requirements and approximately 90-day custom-production schedule before ordering.
