What has happened so far?
GAC reported that the AirJet completed its first flight on July 3, 2025. Its 2024 announcement also discussed plans to begin airworthiness-certification work and production-line preparation during 2025. A first flight is a development milestone; it does not establish certification, approval for passenger service, or customer delivery. The available material does not confirm that the AirJet received an airworthiness certificate or entered delivery.
How is the AirJet different from other Chinese flying-car projects?
