Formula 1 streaming rights depend on where you live. In the United States, the 2026 season is available exclusively through the Apple TV subscription, while F1 TV Pro and local broadcasters remain the relevant options in selected countries.
Before subscribing, check your country in Formula 1’s official broadcaster directory. Rights can change between seasons, and a service that carries every session in one country may offer only highlights or delayed replays somewhere else.

How to find an F1 session in Apple TV
- Open the Apple TV app, or visit tv.apple.com.
- Sign in with the Apple Account attached to your subscription.
- Select Formula 1. On some devices, you may need to use Search first.
- Choose the practice session, qualifying session, Sprint or Grand Prix you want to watch.
- For a live event, select Watch Live. If the session has already started, select Start Over or Watch from Start where available.
During a race, the player can offer alternative commentary languages and additional feeds. On iPhone, tap the screen, choose Feeds, then select the available camera or data feed.
What is included with F1 coverage on Apple TV?
The standard live broadcast includes English and Spanish commentary. Apple also lists up to 30 additional live feeds, Driver Tracker, telemetry, timing information, mixed onboard coverage, team radio, Podium feeds and Multiview showing up to four live feeds. The exact selection depends on the event and the device running the Apple TV app.
In the U.S., F1 TV Premium is included with an Apple TV subscription at no extra charge. You need to connect F1 TV to the Apple Account used for Apple TV. That unlocks F1-specific features such as custom Multiview, onboard cameras, team radio, live timing and UHD viewing on supported equipment.
Are there free Formula 1 streams in the U.S.?
There are limited free distribution arrangements, but no confirmed free service that carries every U.S. Grand Prix and every session.

Can you use F1 TV Pro?
F1 TV Pro remains a live-streaming option only in selected territories. Where available, it typically includes live practice, qualifying, Sprint and race sessions, along with support-series coverage, onboard cameras, team radio and live timing.
In the United States, the standalone F1 subscription page lists F1 TV Access at $29.99 per year or $3.49 per month. That plan includes live timing, selected team-radio clips, delayed race replays, highlights, documentaries and the historic archive. It is not the U.S. replacement for live Grand Prix coverage.

What changed from older F1 streaming advice?
Several commonly repeated recommendations are no longer reliable for the 2026 U.S. season:
- ESPN does not hold the current U.S. F1 streaming position. Apple TV is the exclusive U.S. home from 2026.
- ESPN+ is not established as a package containing the 2026 U.S. F1 races. An ESPN+ subscription should not be treated as an F1 subscription.
- F1 TV Pro is not the U.S. live option. U.S. standalone F1 TV Access provides delayed and supplementary content, while Premium features come through Apple TV.
- Tubi and Yahoo Sports are not full-season replacements. Their announced offerings cover selected alternative broadcasts, practice and qualifying rather than every Grand Prix.
How to avoid unreliable F1 streams
Search results can mix official services with unauthorized streams that disappear during the race. They can also redirect viewers through deceptive advertising, fake browser updates or malware.

Also check whether the listing is for the full Grand Prix, a practice session, qualifying, a Sprint or only highlights. A service may advertise “F1 coverage” while offering just one part of the weekend.

No. Tubi has selected free alternative broadcasts, while Yahoo Sports carries live practice and qualifying streams in the U.S. Neither service is confirmed as a free stream of every full Grand Prix and session.
