The announcement directs interested buyers to contact a local dealer; it does not establish that customers can place a direct-to-factory order themselves. Ford says the kit was developed with Whipple Superchargers.
How to get a supercharged 2026 Mustang or F-150
Ford describes the program as a pre-installed, pre-delivery option, with the vehicle’s supercharger fitted before it reaches the customer. The stated next step is to contact a local Ford dealer. Ask the dealer whether the option can be specified for the exact vehicle you want and how it affects ordering, delivery timing, pricing and warranty documentation. Ford’s announcement does not confirm a customer-facing direct-to-factory ordering route or publish a price for the pre-delivery option. Ford’s March 3, 2026 announcement frames the offer for 2026 vehicles with the specified engine.
Ford’s stated power figures
Ford lists the 2026 F-150 at 700 hp and 590 lb.-ft. of torque with the supercharger. For the Mustang GT and Dark Horse, Ford states 810 hp and 615 lb.-ft. with active valve exhaust; the standard-exhaust figure is 800 hp. These are manufacturer specifications, not independently measured test results. Ford also says the program is engineered to a 160,000-kilometre (100,000-mile) durability standard; that is an engineering standard, not a consumer test result. Its announcement says maximum vehicle speed is unchanged from production configuration.
The announced option and retrofit kits are not interchangeable
Ford’s pre-delivery announcement is specifically about 2026 vehicles. Separate Ford Racing Parts listings describe retrofit kits with broader model-year ranges. Those listings can help owners evaluate an upgrade, but their fitment ranges do not prove the pre-delivery program is available for the same years.

What to check on the F-150 retrofit kit
Ford Racing Parts lists M-6066-F150SCA for 2021–2026 5.0L F-150 applications, with 4×2 and 4×4 fitment for single-alternator vehicles. The listing says vehicles equipped with Pro Power Onboard require an additional kit. It gives CARB executive orders by model year, including certification for 2021–2026; verify the current listing and rules applicable where the truck will be registered before relying on that information for a particular vehicle.
Ford Racing Parts displayed an MSRP of $10,250 for M-6066-F150SCA when accessed in 2026; it is a volatile listed price, not a quoted price for the pre-delivery program. Questions to put to the dealer
- Is the pre-delivery option available for the specific 2026 model, trim, engine and exhaust configuration I want?
- Is the supercharger installed before delivery, and what price and delivery timing apply to my order?
- Which warranty applies to the pre-delivery installation, and what documentation will show the vehicle’s configuration and coverage?
- If I am upgrading a vehicle I already own, which retrofit part number fits its model year and configuration, and what installer, fuel, registration and emissions conditions apply?
Ford’s announcement describes a three-year/60,000-kilometre (36,000-mile) Ford Racing Parts warranty for the announced program. The Mustang retrofit page separately describes its own installation, registration and warranty conditions. Do not assume one listing’s terms automatically govern the other route; have the dealer or Ford confirm coverage for the exact vehicle and installation.
