Ford’s 60th Anniversary Package was a limited-production appearance package for the 2025 Mustang GT Premium—not a separate performance model. It added retro-inspired wheels, badges and other design details, and Ford capped production at 1,965 cars. The package is now listed among those deleted for the 2026 model year, according to Ford’s March 27, 2026 order guide.
What is the 2025 Mustang 60th Anniversary Package?
Ford announced the package on April 17, 2024, for the 2025 Mustang GT Premium with a 5.0-liter V8. It was available for both coupe and convertible body styles, with either a manual or automatic transmission. Ford’s 2025 order guide identifies it as package 606 for GT Premium equipment groups 400A and 401A.
The package marked six decades since the Mustang first went on sale at the New York World’s Fair on April 17, 1964, according to Ford’s April 7, 2024 account. Ford says the original Mustang sold more than 418,000 cars in its first year. That historical sales figure is separate from the anniversary package’s production cap.
What makes the Mustang 60th Anniversary Package different?
The package combined references to early Mustangs with the current car’s design. Its special details included:

How many 2025 Mustang 60th Anniversary cars were made?
Ford announced a production limit of 1,965 cars. The number refers to the Mustang’s first official model year; it is not how many Mustangs Ford sold in 1965 and does not indicate how many examples remain available today.
Can you still order the 60th Anniversary Package?
Ford’s original announcement projected ordering would begin in summer 2024, with cars expected to reach dealerships in the fourth quarter of 2024. Those were forecasts made at the time, not a statement of current availability. Ford’s March 27, 2026 Mustang order guide lists the package among those deleted for that model year. That does not establish whether a particular dealer or used-car listing has an example for sale.

Because a listing or badge alone may not settle whether a car has the factory package, confirm package identification with the seller and supporting vehicle documentation. When comparing examples, check the details that can materially distinguish one car from another:
