The digital concept is credited to designer adry53customs, also identified as Timothy Adry Emmanuel; a physical build and possible SEMA debut are described as future plans, not completed events.
What the Dark Horse widebody rendering shows
Mustang Magazine’s July 6, 2026 feature describes an imagined Saleen-style treatment of the S650 Dark Horse. The render adds widened front and rear quarters, an aggressive front fascia, a deep front splitter, side skirts, side-exit exhaust, rear aero and deep-dish wheels. These are visual elements of a digital concept; the feature does not establish that the parts are functional or fitted to a running car.
The feature credits the design to adry53customs / Timothy Adry Emmanuel and says it was designed and modeled in 3ds Max. It also reports that the creator said no AI was used. Mustang Magazine’s July 6, 2026 feature
Is it a real car, and is it going to SEMA?
The rendering is a digital concept, while a physical build is presented as the intended next step. Mustang Magazine reports that the planned build is expected to head toward a SEMA debut, but its feature provides no confirmed completion status or debut date. That is a reported plan, not evidence that the car has already appeared at SEMA or that Ford and Saleen collaborated.

Other Dark Horse widebody renders are separate concepts
This Saleen-inspired design should not be confused with other independently created Dark Horse CGI projects. CarVibz covered a bradbuilds concept featuring overfenders, aero additions, TE37 wheels and air suspension. Autoevolution covered Abimelec Arellano’s “Pony-Up!” CGI, with a ducktail spoiler, carbon-fiber details, Rotiform wheels and Toyo tires. Neither source connects those concepts to adry53customs’ rendering.
What a separate physical Dark Horse kit listing says
For readers wondering what a real conversion might involve, SHIROKAI lists a separate 2024–2025 Mustang Dark Horse widebody kit as a limited preorder. The vendor describes front and rear fender flares, side skirts, bumper fender endings, a front lip and a rear spoiler. Its stated dimensions are vendor specifications, not independent measurements and not confirmed dimensions of the adry53customs render.
