The Fisker PEAR was an announced compact electric vehicle, but the evidence available does not establish that it entered production or reached customers. Was the Fisker PEAR released?
There is no evidence in the available records that the PEAR became a production vehicle or that customer deliveries began. Fisker’s 2023 announcement described it as in development and projected manufacturing and deliveries to start in July 2025. That was a company target, not a confirmed launch date.
The distinction matters: announcements and projected specifications describe what Fisker planned, not a vehicle buyers could verify, purchase, or evaluate in production form.
What Fisker planned for the PEAR
In August 2023, Fisker presented the PEAR as a compact EV and outlined the following targets. Fisker said its figures were based on internal simulations, were subject to change, and were not final production specifications.

Fisker’s announcement stated: “The Fisker PEAR is in development and this press release contains Fisker’s targeted specifications.” That qualification applies to the performance and range figures above. Fisker’s August 2023 announcement
The company also discussed rear-wheel and all-wheel drive, standard 20-inch wheels, optional 22-inch wheels, an Extreme variant, and proposed Blade computer and connectivity systems. These were elements of the planned product, not confirmation of a finished or available model.

Why the PEAR plan did not become a verified launch
Fisker Group filed for Chapter 11 on June 17, 2024; Fisker Inc. and other U.S. subsidiaries filed on June 19. Fisker’s SEC filing said the debtors would operate as debtors in possession during the proceedings. Fisker’s SEC filing
A July 2024 bankruptcy filing described a May 2021 Project PEAR cooperation framework agreement with AFE, an affiliate of Foxconn. The framework contemplated a manufacturing agreement, and Fisker’s pre-bankruptcy schedule projected production in 2025. The court confirmed a joint Chapter 11 plan of liquidation in October 2024. The plan took effect on October 17, 2024, when the Fisker Liquidating Trust was established. No current PEAR order channel or verified retail price is established by the available sources. Fisker’s original announcement included a reservation link when it was published, but that historical link does not show that reservations or orders are open today.

The evidence also does not settle what happened to individual PEAR reservations or deposits, whether PEAR intellectual property was later transferred, or whether another company might revive the concept. Those questions should not be treated as resolved.
