The Ferrari Purosangue combines a naturally aspirated V12 and four-door, four-seat layout with a 473-litre boot. It can suit buyers who want a high-performance Ferrari with space for passengers and luggage, but its price, running costs, equipment and coverage depend on the individual car and market. There is no single current worldwide price or complete, reliable option-price list: get a written local quote for a new car, or verify the specification, history and cover of a specific used one.
What is the Ferrari Purosangue?
The Purosangue is Ferrari’s first four-door, four-seat model. Its defining combination is a naturally aspirated 6,496 cc V12, an eight-speed F1 dual-clutch transmission and room for four occupants. Ferrari’s technical sheet specifies 725 cv and 716 Nm; the manufacturer also quotes a 0–100 km/h time of 3.3 seconds and a maximum speed above 310 km/h. Those are manufacturer specifications, not independent test results, and the specification of a particular car should be checked against its market and model year.

That mix makes the buying decision different from choosing a conventional sports car or a conventional family vehicle. Assess the Purosangue as a performance-focused Ferrari whose extra doors and luggage capacity may broaden its use—not as evidence that it will fit every family, road, garage or budget. A visit and a drive in the actual car matter more than relying on the body style or headline capacity alone.

How much does a Ferrari Purosangue cost?
There is no current universal transaction price established here. Car and Driver’s 2025 US-market review described the price as above $400,000. Treat that as dated US review context, not as a current quote, a global starting price or the amount a buyer in another market will pay. Taxes, delivery charges, equipment, local availability and market conditions affect the final figure.

For a new car
Ask a local Ferrari dealer for a written quotation tied to the exact proposed specification. Have the quote distinguish the vehicle price from taxes, delivery and other charges, and confirm whether the quoted car is an order, an available allocation or an in-stock vehicle. Ask the dealer to identify the market-specific standard equipment and each priced option rather than relying on a generic online configuration or a specification from another country.
For a used car
Compare the asking price with the actual car, not a model-level estimate. Relevant differences include model year, mileage, build sheet, service record, condition, remaining eligibility for Ferrari Genuine Maintenance and any written warranty. A lower advertised price does not establish that the car has equivalent equipment or cover. Ask for documents supporting each advertised claim, then factor any local taxes and costs into your comparison.
What are the Purosangue’s key specifications?
Ferrari’s technical specification sheet supplies the following figures. They are manufacturer data; confirm the applicable specification for the precise car and market.

Is the Ferrari Purosangue practical?
It offers several practical features by Ferrari standards: four doors, four seats, individually folding rear seats and a manufacturer-listed 473-litre boot. Ferrari says the car can accommodate four adults. The rear doors are rear-hinged, and Ferrari says they help provide access to electrically reclining rear seats. The rear seats fold separately, which lets an owner trade some passenger seating for extra luggage space.
Those details establish the layout, not whether it works for your passengers or belongings. Take the people who will regularly ride in the car, and try the luggage or equipment you actually carry. If you use child seats, test installation and access with the specific seats. Check whether adults can enter and sit comfortably in the rear, and whether the boot opening and shape suit the objects you need to load. Do not assume a quoted volume guarantees that a particular case, stroller or set of bags will fit.
Roads, ride height and parking
Ferrari’s editorial account presents the Purosangue as intended for regular roads and everyday use, and describes active suspension that can raise or lower ride height. That flexibility is not the same as dedicated off-road capability. If your routine includes steep ramps, rough surfaces or speed humps, assess clearance and approach angles in person rather than treating adjustable ride height as proof it can tackle every surface.

- 25.5×12×5.8cm compact – perfect for display on desks, shelves, or cabinets
- Alloy + rubber tires + ABS – detailed interior, die-cast parts. Doors & hood open
- Thickened carton + bubble pad packaging – ensures safe delivery and storage
- A treasured collectible piece – designed for true car enthusiasts and collectors
- Static adult collectible – not a toy. Not for children under 15 years old
The listed body dimensions and 22-inch front and 23-inch rear wheels are practical considerations, not just specification-sheet details. Check the width of your garage and usual parking spaces, visibility when manoeuvring, and how the car behaves on the roads you use. Ask about the exact tire specification and get a local replacement quote before purchase; the cited technical information gives tire sizes but no tire prices.
Controls and driving experience
Car and Driver’s 2025 review describes a busy steering-wheel control layout, haptic controls that take time to learn and the absence of a centre touchscreen. These are reviewer observations, not universal measures of comfort or usability. Spend time in the actual car before committing: adjust the seating and mirrors, try the controls you will use most, and check that you can operate them without distraction. Include low-speed manoeuvring and ordinary roads in the test drive rather than judging the car only by acceleration.
Which options should you look for?
Do not rely on a generic list of desirable Purosangue options: the available information does not establish a complete current option catalogue, current option prices or reliable resale premiums for particular equipment. Ferrari’s editorial material identifies a carbon-fibre roof as standard, but standard equipment can be market- and model-year-specific. Confirm that point for the car you are considering instead of assuming it applies to every example.

Use the build sheet, not the advert
- Get the complete build sheet. Ask the seller or dealer for the vehicle-specific equipment record, then compare it with the car and the advert.
- Confirm market and model year. Establish the original market specification and production or model year before deciding whether an item was standard or optional.
- Check each feature in person. Verify that advertised equipment is present and working; do not infer it from photographs or a generic specification.
- Ask for a written price breakdown on a new car. Request the dealer’s current local price for each option on the proposed build. No universal option-price list is established here.
- Choose for your use, not an assumed resale premium. The available information does not substantiate claims that a particular option guarantees a stronger resale value.
What does it cost to own?
A purchase price alone cannot establish the Purosangue’s total cost of ownership. Ferrari’s technical sheet gives a combined WLTC fuel consumption of 17.3 L/100 km and CO₂ emissions of 393 g/km. These are homologation figures, not real-world results. Estimate fuel expense using your likely driving and local fuel prices; check local vehicle taxes using the rules that apply where the car will be registered.
The cited sources do not establish current insurance, financing, fuel, repair or tax costs for a buyer’s location. Obtain local quotes rather than treating an estimate from another country as transferable. The specified 22-inch front and 23-inch rear wheels use different tire sizes, so ask a local supplier for the correct replacement specifications and prices. The technical sheet gives sizes but does not establish what a replacement set costs.

Ferrari says its Genuine Maintenance programme covers scheduled routine maintenance for the first seven years, with services at 20,000-km or annual intervals. Ferrari also says pre-owned owners may access the programme. That statement does not mean every repair, wear item or future ownership period is covered. For a specific used car, ask an authorized Ferrari dealer to confirm the in-service date, the programme’s remaining eligibility, the applicable local terms and what is excluded. Request the answer in writing.

What should you check when buying a used Purosangue?
A used-car inspection should establish what the car is, what equipment it has, how it has been maintained and what protection—if any—transfers to you. No named long-term reliability statistic or robust Purosangue-specific failure-rate dataset is established here. Treat a professional inspection as sensible due diligence, not as proof of a known model defect.
Documents, identity and history
- Match the identity. Compare the VIN and registration documents with the vehicle and sales paperwork. Check that the named seller is entitled to sell it.
- Reconcile mileage and service history. Ask for the complete service record and supporting invoices where available. Ferrari Approved says it checks vehicle identity, mileage and history; that is not a substitute for reviewing the actual record for the car you are buying.
- Confirm the specification. Obtain the build sheet and check advertised features against the vehicle. Establish the original market and model year.
- Ask about outstanding work. Have an authorized Ferrari dealer confirm the available service history and any open work before purchase.
- Verify maintenance eligibility. Check the car’s in-service date and get a written account of any remaining Genuine Maintenance coverage and local conditions.
Inspection and test drive
- Arrange an independent specialist or authorized-dealer inspection. Ask for a written report covering the car’s condition and any work the inspector recommends. The available sources do not identify a verified recurring-fault checklist specific to the Purosangue, so an inspector should assess the actual vehicle rather than assume a particular fault.
- Inspect the tires. Compare the fitted tires with the specified front and rear sizes, check their condition, and ask for local replacement prices for the correct specification.
- Test the car in your real use cases. Drive it in ordinary traffic and at low speed, and assess visibility, manoeuvring, ride and the controls. Try the rear seats, child-seat fit if relevant, boot loading and garage access.
- Resolve discrepancies before paying. If the mileage, equipment, maintenance record or advertised cover differs from what you were told, obtain a clear written explanation and corrected paperwork before proceeding.
If the car is advertised as Ferrari Approved
Ferrari Approved describes more than 201 technical inspections and checks. Its cited Berlin used-car listing also describes warranty coverage for many spare parts and repairs, plus roadside assistance for up to 24 months in Europe, the Middle East and Africa or 12 months elsewhere. These are programme claims shown on a particular listing, not a guarantee of identical cover for every car or region. Ask for the vehicle’s actual inspection record and written warranty and roadside-assistance terms, including duration, exclusions, eligibility and the territory covered. Verify what transfers to you, and do not treat an Approved label as a replacement for reading the documents.
How to compare Purosangue candidates
When you have a particular new or used car in front of you, compare it on like-for-like evidence. A generic competitor comparison cannot replace local quotations or a test of your own needs, and no like-for-like current competitor pricing is established here.
