What happened near Brookton?
PerthNow reported that at about 2:20pm, a 67-year-old man from Hamilton Hill was riding a Kawasaki motorcycle south on Great Southern Highway, travelling from York towards Brookton. About a kilometre south of Youraling Road, he failed to take a right-hand bend and struck a tree. Emergency services and passers-by tried to assist, but he died at the scene.
What happened in the Ravenswood Hyundai rollover?
At about 3:10pm, a Hyundai Trajet was travelling west on Pinjarra Road when another vehicle travelling in the same direction began moving into its path, according to the report. The Trajet lost control, rolled, and came to rest upright about 15–20 metres west of Western Greenery, at 1520 Pinjarra Road. Its occupants, including two children, were taken to Peel Health Campus and treated for shock.
The other vehicle described in the report
PerthNow described the vehicle as light green and possibly a Hyundai Excel or Ford Focus, about 10–15 years old, with a single male occupant. It left west along Pinjarra Road. The report said police sought information about both crashes.

These were two distinct incidents on the same Friday afternoon: the Brookton crash was fatal, while the Ravenswood report described a rollover involving a Hyundai Trajet and a second vehicle that left the scene.
